So sad

starlord

yep we are deffo going heavy on defense in this draft, we need DE, LB, CB we might get a OL, WR or TE in later rounds

    Mr Hofmann

Lmao yes we need ever single position definitely ! Hope we have enough picks

    starlord

@Mr Hofmann we have 7 one extra for RB 😄

I don’t think they invest so much capital in DE/edge after drafting Oliver and Epanesa so high. Spending the most money on DLine with Addison, Butler, Murphy, and Hughes. I think they bank on Star being a big help on the interior and big steps forward for Ed O. and AJ before spending another high pick on DLine which is crowded.

I want a CB. About 8 guys that could potentially be day 1 starters and be solid to shutdown for years. Then who is passing into our secondary?? That’s why NE got both top TE’s… no one is passing deep or to the outside and will just rely on going over the middle/crosses to Henry and Smith (overpaid massively) if we get a good-to-lockdown CB2 opposite Tre ??? with Micah and Poyer erasing the 2nd level, it’s easily the best secondary in the NFL, and an all-time one at that. Caleb Farley might drop, but Greg Newsome, Campbell, Stokes, Jaycee Horn, and several others look STOUT, and several will be there at 30.

I would not be mad at all at an interior OL. Not really happy about Feliciano-Cody Ford tandem. Wyatt Davis might be just what we need to take this offense to new heights. Creed Humphrey prob available in round 2.

Only TE worth taking high is Pitts. I would even love trading a ton of capital to move up and take him in the top 10. He’s generational and erases all qb mistakes. Allen-Pitts would be THE NFL for the next 7-10 years. Brevin Jordan probably available day 2 or 3.

There is a WR sleeper in this draft. Dwayne Eskridge. Elite athleticism and speed off the charts (olympic sprinter speed). Just a foot of space and it’s gone to the house, no doubt. Undervalued because of small size, on the contrary I truly believe he could be the next Tyreek Hill, and much like Cheetah, could fall into the later rounds and be the steal of the entire thing. Also we need a kick/punt returner and he’s elite at that.

No need at wr we are good there don’t need to waste a pick there

Educational interview.
Respect!
Go Bills.

Jayson oweh would be a good pick up

Lawrence is gonna find out the difference between NFL and Clemson real quick. Zero QB class this year.

Giving up on Darnold is a mistake. I hope he goes somewhere, outside of AFC East, where they give him a chance to be successful. Cursed is the rookie QB that goes to the Jets.

Exactly! Now how good does Sanchez look going into that place and taking the Jets to back to back AFC championchips. Those Jets teams where very good!

I think the best value for round 1 @ 30 will be CB. this year there are like 8 CB’s that are worthy of 1st round picks, so there should be several available. Levi is serviceable/mediocre, and other than him you’re trusting the spot to a 7th round pick Dane Jackson. Draft a day 1 starter, potentially elite shutdown CB2 and you have not just the best secondary in the NFL, but an all-time legendary one.

I like Etienne, but I don’t think it’s wise to spend a 1st rounder on an RB with other needs. Could land a really solid interior OL if one of the top prospects falls or even take a guy like Wyatt Davis. That gives you the opportunity to even trade down and get 2 2nd rounders or multiple other picks for 30 and get just as good a player.

Other likely: I’m willing to bet a lot of cash that Buffalo will 100% draft an LB to pair with Milano and Edmunds, as Klein and others have been hot and cold. They will definitely be drafting a TE somewhere. Knox hasn’t made the strides they hoped for, and Kroft is average. Very likely to add another speed back, a speed/agility WR that they can use is special packages but primarily for kick/punt returns with Andre Roberts gone.

What I have absolutely zero clue about: There has been a lot of chatter about rushing the passer. Does that mean they want to draft ANOTHER edge rusher high in the draft? I’m not so sold on this idea. We’ve committed SO much money and draft capital to this in recent years. Signed Addison, drafted Oliver and Epanesa, Hughes is solidified to his spot. Kept Vernon Butler and Trent Murphy is still here. I thought they were banking on Star Lotuleilei’s return from the optout making a big difference to allow Oliver to play his true position and hope both he and Epanesa take the leaps they expected by drafting them so high. I don’t think they spend more on this before addressing other needs.

Personally, for that first round #30, what I’d want:

1. I want a top-notch CB2 in a CB-heavy draft.
2. interior OL. Sorry, I don’t like our run game improving with Feliciano-Cody Ford as guards, regardless of who the ball carrier is, even with Moss and Singletary’s weaknesses in terms of speed/reading blocks. Morse is undersized but experience/chemistry at Center is huge.
3. a game-changing TE (go YOLO and trade up for Pitts! won’t regret this as it’ll set Allen up for 10 years). Only guy worth trading the pick for, though. Brevin Jordan will be available on day 2 or 3.
4. Only one RB to take here (still a risk): if Etienne is available (Najee overrated) jump on him. Our last 1st round Clemson RB – CJ Spiller – was a game changer that got derailed by a broken collarbone.
