Greg Cosell: “It Was A Pretty Impressive Performance” | One Bills Live | Buffalo Bills

NFL Films senior producer/ESPN NFL Matchup co-host Greg Cosell joined One Bills Live to analyze the Bills preseason win over the Broncos. He discussed the performance of QB Case Keenum, why the run game stood out the most to him on offense, the impact of Rodger Saffold in that area, and why Khalil Shakir is becoming one of his favorite young receivers. On defense he discussed his impressions of Jaquan Johnson, the pass rush from Shaq Lawson & A.J. Epenesa, and the early impact from the defensive tackles so far this preseason. He also examined what he saw from TE O.J. Howard against the Broncos.

Go Bills.💪🏾

Paul Deck

He’s absolutely correct that a lot of good players are gonna get cut. Hope they leave here better people, the whole “be your best self” McBeane stuff. Blackshear is gonna be a heartbreak if he never comes back, assuming he misses the 53.

OJ Howard, I wonder if a full season and offseason here with our rehab center and stuff, if it help him fully recover – similar to how Zack Moss is finally healthy

Elliot Eisler

Cosell has always been fair towards our Bills. Great interview, and LFG BUFFAALLOOOO!!!!

David Costantino

and the first of many difficult cuts/trades Cody Ford to AZ for a ’23 5th round pick

T Jab

Greg “The Brain 🧠 Trust “ is the best NFL Guru!!! “The Brain 🧠 Trust “ has always been unbiased and truthful. I watch his show and his evaluations for other teams. They are beyond amazing and detailed unlike most other experts in the league. The Buffalo 🦬 Bills Mafia loves “The Brain 🧠 Trust!!!” Go Buffalo 🦬 Bills!

Craig McCann

The best!

Mike

We’re like the 07 Sabres. Very soon we’re not going to be able to afford our roster. We need it this year

    Matt McKee

I disagree. This franchises front office is nothing like Golisano and Regier. Way better. The cap and bonuses allow teams to push and upfront money. It’s nothing like that. I promise you.

    Josh Allen the GOAT

@Matt McKee Plus the cap will most likely be going up in a year or two.

Though I don’t think we’ll be able to keep 100% of everybody, hopefully we will be able to keep the main core intact.

    Mind Over Mana

I suppose this depends how team-friendly some guys are willing to be. Do you want to win, or is it all about the money? Do you want $30 million and no rings or $20 million and a place in history? Sometimes I scratch my head when guys like Tyreek Hill walk away from a Super Bowl favorite. He’s going to make $300 million or so throughout his career. What’s a few million more or less at that point if it means being a champion (again) for life?

That is why drafting guys like Christian Benford, Khalil Shakir, Braylon Spector and Luke Tenuta is huge. Their contracts are minuscule compared to vets. Throw in aQuintin Morris and Raheem Blackshear on your roster and you can squeeze under the cap.

Dadson worldwide

Never forget what Dr fauci did to Dawson knox lil brother! And how few stood up and spoke out like cole .

    Johnnyukulele

    indeed

    Johnnyukulele

    hundreds of athletes

Mary Jane Macpherson

This team is so deep its ridiculous. A LOT of really good players are going to get cut, put on the PS and then ultimately poached by other teams.

Ash Salleh

love this trio

Jose Gonzalez

Here for Greg!

Derek Mcneil

Love Cosell 💘

    T Jab

“The Brain 🧠 Trust “ Cosell is ridiculously brilliant and entertaining!!! His expertise is unrivaled!!! Go Buffalo 🦬 Bills!

Rookie OL Alex Anderson has played well? I haven’t noticed….hmm. Have to watch him Friday.

Dalton Owen

When talking about the Offensive Line you should be talking about #75 Tanner Owen.
