The lions are underrated asf when they have their entire starting defense and 2 offensive weapons. They almost beat the dolphins (lost by 4) Vikings (lost by 4) Seahawks (by 3) and eagles (by 3) with more of those draft picks they got, they’re gonna be scary in a couple of years (the CHI Bears too)
@kk I have that in mind, that’s why I said ik they lost to the jest, but keep in mind they have won 4 of their last 5 games, I feel like this was a deserved win for the jets, but I feel the bills win definitely comeback, it just 1 loss (no offence)
@Idk Random I believe the bills are a better team than the chiefs (chiefs were better when they had Tyreek) but the bills will be tested against a 7-1 Vikings team and a lot of people MIGHT be surprised with how good the jags are too. (I say might because the jags are a hit and miss. They come close in all of their games, beat the chargers by 28 points and shutout the colts)

The Lions deserve this win, great defense
This shows me the Pleasant firing was the right move. We will see how it plays out the coming weeks but this was a strong showing like DizzyDevils said below. I’m encouraged by this performance. I don’t care what you say about Rodgers or the lack of talent around the league. We don’t even get to use those excuses. But against a surefire HOF QB this win was a statement for us. By all odds Rodgers should have torched us like he always does. Good job on Glenn to get our boys right. We just went from allowing the most points in the league to a season low point game on the defensive side. I don’t care what any Lions fan says, this team is trending in the right direction. I don’t know or think that DC is the right HC for us but as far as talent goes, I’m encouraged by what I’ve seen. Brad Holmes has captured magic in the draft. We have 5-6 starters (jameson included if he does return) from the drafts alone which is a great stat for any GM. You don’t hit on all the picks (like Levi) but he is proving to be a competent GM. A lot of the guys we have are on prove it deals and we have a ton of cap space to work with next year. interested to see what direction we go. If we shore up the defense with proven playmakers and get some quality draft talent AND our FUTURE QB I see us having a promising season next year. Now if our offense can start up again I’d like to see a few more wins before its all said and done. Lets go Lions! #ONEPRIDE

I’m a fan of 45 years and I do like what I’m seeing Campbell and his staff get out of the players for sure. But I’m not so sure about a lot of his coaching decisions
Like not taking the 3 on the opening drive and not punting on our last possession. On the opening drive 4th down from their 7 you have to take the points.
I was so surprised Rogers didn’t score on the last drive with only 55 yards and 2 minutes to go. Punt the ball and make him drive the field. And had he scored you could have blamed it on not taking the field goal in the 1st quarter.
They did have some players step up yesterday though Barnes had a huge game as did Joseph, both late round picks. Hutch didn’t have many tackles but the pick was a huge smart play!

As a Detroit sports fan, this was a very good weekend. Lions won. Michigan won. Spartans won. Red Wings won Thursday and Saturday. Packers lost. Alabama lost. Not bad!

Man, the underdogs really came out to play today. The Jets outplayed my Bills, and the Lions sent Green Bay packing 😉 I’m always happy to see the Lions get the win.
It amazes me how those fans pack that arena every game, no matter what their record is. Ford Field is always thunderous. Detroit is an awesome city, too. Pulling for this team.

It is also why ownership never gives the fans of Detroit a winning team. The Lions record is 1-6, now 2-6 after beating Green Bay. They win a game, then lose three of four, win one, lose three or four. Repeat, every year. They aren’t going to the Super Bowl this year, or any other year.
