Amazing how ppl talked smack about mariota’s throw to pitts for the TD and saying it was behind him..smh..they dont know football well enough to see the linebacker was in the way so mariota had to throw it a bit behind in order to get it away from the linebacker but still close enough for pitts to get it

    It’s alright, people don’t know what a backshoulder pass is. That’s a normal type of pass in coverage in order to 1 protect the receiver and 2 put the ball where only they can catch it and out of the hands of the defender.

    And lots of quarterbacks throw passes “behind” the receivers so I don’t get the point of singling out one QB. It can be a good outcome or a bad outcome either way.
