Playoffs? Unlikely, & I hate to admit it – probably depends a lot on injuries suffered by cowgirlz & tweetyburdz. Gmen are at least 1 more draft away from being a really solid contender.
I do think they’re definitely going to be better, on both sides of the ball. Imo, Ws & Ls are less important overall than watching development from key players. DJs, Hernandez, Thomas, Slayton, & K. Smith on offense have to step up.
On defense, have to see Lawrence, Xman, Carter, Connelly, Holmes, Love & McKinney play well. Now, that’s asking a lot. Baker?? We’ll see. Williams, Tomlinson, Bradberry & Peppers will be solid, Golden too if he returns. Kackrell? Those other LBs?? Who knows?
Talking about an X-factor though, I love J. Leake. Gettleman got us another Home Run Big Play guy. Watch this young man bust one vs Dallas & another vs Philly!

I think an X factor is gonna be Blake Martinez. Say what you want about him in Coverage but he’s gonna be the best Tackling Linebacker we have had since Pierce. Williams and Lawrence can keep him clean, he could put up some nice numbers.
I think the xfactor is controlling the clock on offense and having drives extend and get those first downs. Keep our defense off the field and make other defenses tired.
