I Did Comment Before You Lol

    Timothy Frith

Brian Flores grew up in Brooklyn rooting for his favorite hometown football team, so the Giants will likely name him Joe Judge’s successor, so next season, Brian will lead the Giants to a 17-0 record and their 5th Super Bowl title.

Emmanuel Alejandro

Flores was a surprise release by the dolphins. If the Giants bring him they’ll make a good job defensively. Granted if there’s good pickups along the way by draft or free agency

    Michael Sherron

@Krazed110 No matter who’s picked, whether it’s Daboll, Flores or someone else, everyone has their flaws and issues, pros and cons. Bottom line is it still gives us fans some hope of things being and getting better, I really can’t see how it can get any worse. GO GIANTS!

    Krazed110

@Michael Sherron I definitely have to agree with you there. I just hope all turns out to be a good choice whether it is Flores or Daboll or anyone else for that matter.

    jay rod

@Krazed110 you don’t know if him and Joe share the same vision because Joe is new and hasn’t even evaluated the roster yet. How can you have a vision without evaluation. And that’s where I like Flores because he’s going to shoot straight which I think is key for such a new GM. Honesty

    Krazed110

@jay rod cuz Schoen said so in his interview…

    jay rod

    @Krazed110 yeah 👍

Todd Taylor

At this point he’s my choice. He has experience and I’ll take that over a guy whose claim to fame is literally just Josh Allen’s athletic ability.

    Neil

Look into it more you’re way off base

Mike Norton

Hired both Brian’s

Cameron Walter

Has won as many games the last 2 years as the giants have won in 4 years. Would be a good hire

    Happy Kev

Fair I like him and daboll. Daboll for the familiarity with schoen. Flores for his tough attitude, and defensive prowess

    Eric Dorsey

unfortunately a lot of head coaches can say the same, so I dont think he stands out there. But I would love to see him as the head coach. One of the better candidates with actual head coaching experience. Sounds like he only got fired in Miami for demanding a lot out of an underperforming Tua, so this would be a steal.

    J C

@Happy Kev It’s going to be a risk no matter what. It’s the nature of hiring a HC. You either hire potential or someone who has failed elsewhere — that’s why they are on the market. And make no mistake, Flores failed. Maybe not in the win-loss column or getting the most out of his team, but as an HC you gotta be able to build good relationships with other people there. You can’t resort to alienating your QB or management just cause you’re not getting your way.

People should just focus on Giants making the right decision, whatever that is. THe right decision isn’t tied to anyone other than being the right decision in of itself.

jay rod

You want the people who want to be here and give everything they have, people who will sacrifice for the team. All IN like the glory days. I wonder how he feels about DJ which I think is a better deal then Tua ( considering both are injury prone).

    Toskie Mail

I think coaching Tua made Flores realize if the guy is good and constantly shows it, you can’t keep him down and keep denying him opportunities.

OTKP

Was doing a great job with the Dolphins, it is shame he did not get to finish what he started in Miami honestly. Flores or Daboll I would be very happy with either as the next Head Coach of the New York Football Giants!

    Edgar Ramirez

Actually he really wasn’t doing a “great job” he was average at best. U can look it up yourself those last 8 or 9 wins whatever it was all came from sub .500 teams and in those losses he was swept by Buffalo and every other team above .500 so if you do a deeper search on this you’ll see he really didn’t have a “comeback” type of season after all.

    Drunk Drywaller

@Edgar Ramirez True. But at least he can beat bad teams. Something us Giants fans aren’t used to as of lately

    Edgar Ramirez

@Drunk Drywaller I mean yea that’s great and all but will be have the nxt level consciousness to be able to beat the good/great teams when it’s time to he’s proven he can’t with a lot of inconsistencies at OC & DC. Like I’m not trying to down the guy I’m just questioning every coaches ability to win thoroughly just like the giants should be doing in the hiring process of every coach that’s being interviewed rn for our HC position.

Basically be thorough in ur evaluation process just like u were for the GM and make sure whomever you’re bringing in AT BARE MINIMUM has some type of longevity of winning in their resume.

    Kalin Waters

    You like Marvin Lewis?

Jay Jay Abels

Daboll has a stronger background. I like Flores but we need a HC with an Offensive mindset and high EQ.

Peter DellOlio

Flores is a good coach, someone will be happy they hired him.

Adam Carman

This guy is honestly to me the best choice they’ve interviewed so far. I think they should look at Beniemy and Spagnuolo as well from KC.

    mad clipz

    Spagnuolo reunion would be awesome

    Adam Carman

@mad clipz I know they won’t because the rejected him for Shurmur a few years ago but I think we can agree that was the wrong move. Spags just motivates guys and we need that.

Daniel Nigra

I hope we hire him. I see Graham staying D.C Asst HC. They have friendship and history in Miami. Who will run The offense?

Nick Bellomo

It might not be a good match since Mara wants to keep Jones instead of dafting a new qb.

Nick Bellomo

I don’t think he will ever get us a super bowl as head coach. Be a good fit as Def cor. Since we have to get a big fix on the offensive side.

DRU

I love the Flores & Graham combo.

Striker

I want the Giants to hire Brian Flores. I’m a believer in if the QB don’t have time to throw the ball, then how can he perform on a high level??? The Giants won 2 Superbowls because of their pass rush that beat the great Tom Brady twice. The Giants need to bring back their Superbowl pass rushing defense, and I believe Brian Flores would bring back the feared Giants pass rush.

yoowuzgud

Best case scenario – we hire Flores, keep Graham, and hire Pep Hamilton, Kafka, Dorsey, or Liam Coen from the college ranks to run the offense. Maybe even Bill O’Brien.

Seems odd to hinge ones HC ability on the turnaround of a young QB without a sustained proven track record of transforming QBs.

ChrisM18

If we don’t have good players, good coaches mean nothing.

Kathy C

He might be a good coach but he seems to go thru assistants way to much. That tells me he has a problem communicating his ideas/plans or just doesn’t like anyone not just doing what he wants.

Jerry Wright

We will score 25 points some games but opponents will score 35 every game

Triumphus Here

Whyyyy i can’t remember anything spectacular this season with the dolphins
