@Tam Hill right, my comment wasn’t about d Jones so much, but it still applies. They could have gotten a better o line man in 2nd, and a better receiver in 3rd, or even 4th(than robinson) is what i was trying to say, I don’t see how getting a gadget player (who is far less skilled than the one we already have, which kinda makes him redundant(like flott)) who struggles with drops, doesn’t have the long speed, and is 5’8″ 179#, and has a similar route tree(and ball skills) to a RB, actually helps d.jones or the giants at all. Still hope I’m wrong, but I think all 3 day 2 picks are hard to explain (though at least the guard fills a clear need(even if he’s not all that promising imo)

@Craig W Possibly the ” gadget player ” may be what is needed. Punt returns, Kick offs, Third down option. Run or pass, short, or long. I think the Giants are placing a bet on a multi purpose player. If you get a chance to get one of those. Ya gotta grab it ! Remember we are talking 4th round . First round pick. Im looking at a skill player at a position I need. Fourth round. I want somebody that will maybe help. I can roll the dice on this guy. A punt return TD, mid season. Sounds good to me. Im not going to find a Pro Bowler in the late rounds. But ya might find a game breaker.

@Tyler Durden maybe they’re not too confident in KT, kid does have an injury history dating back to college. And if he does stay healthy, we got 2 big play guys. Can’t have too much talent right?

@Justa Guy true I think for QBs it’s even worse, like 80% failure rate. I don’t question this dude’s talent, I more question Jones’s ability to hit this guy in the numbers. Tom Brady could hit Welker in the numbers all day long because he’s Tom Brady. But Jones sucks.

@D P you may be right. His change of speed is so fluid I think he’s going to be able to beat people with the double moves and sluggos so hopefully he’ll be getting some opportunities deep.

Despite everything else jones can throw a pretty deep ball. Maybe this works out🤞🏾
