Bryan Lindsay he is ok but I prefer Willis. My idea in the draft is to give the jags our second round pick and then we take their defensive end that didn’t want to stay there and then we have a good tackle and a good edge rusher

@FrostGod Nation Simmons would have been the right pick. He is a higher overall rated player and even more….a position of need. Tight ends and slot receivers are gonna shred the Giants again this year unless they get more secondary help. The offense wasnt nearly as bad as the defense last year. Wheres the balance? Looks like as long as Gettleman is steering the ship the Giants are destined for mediocrity.
Let’s go, Giants! Andrew Thomas is one of the safest picks of this whole draft. He is almost guaranteed to be our LT of the next 10-12 years, opening holes for Saquon and keeping Danny Dimes clean in the pocket. I know this isn’t a sexy pick, Giants fans, but it is one of the best decisions Gettleman has made these three years. Let’s go Giants!
This is a non sexy pick. To your point, s left tackle for the next 10+ years. In five years half the NFL will be looking for a LT and we will have ours.great point.

Sadly a lot of Giant fans were upset about Isiah Simmons. While understandable, they really needed to address the offensive line !!
Most of us are thrilled. Anyone who thought Simmons was a better pick than OT need to realize this isn’t Madden.

One of the lowest paid defenses IN ALL OF FOOTBALL! “Why are we so bad?” Well their you go.
What are u talking about? Our entire draft outside of Jones was defense last yr for the most part, and most our key FA signings recently were all defensive, with Bradberry , Martinez, and Fackrell. Just needed to get some of the young guys some seasoning and development.. Guys like Peppers , Baker, Ximines, Big Dex, Carter, and Connelly , among others .

Perfect scenario for Thomas. And for people who think Thomas will come in and play RT this yr and then move into LT next yr, I wouldn’t be so sure. You might just see Thomas start out at LT and Solder moved to RT. Thomas is plug and play LT. They might see him as the better fit at LT and Solder who’s winding down on his career, a better fit at RT now.
We shall see. I’m pumped for Thomas though! Getty gets 3 key cogs on offense the past 3yrs , Bark, Jones, and now Thomas. Hell yeah!!
The draft happened when it was at night. Bob Papa is clearly talking to Shaun O’Hara in the day time. To me this does not feel genuine though I am okay with the pick.
