@MrAdamNTProtester yeah I feel like Lindsay will never carry a running game alone since he’s not that big. Gordon is almost Derrick Henry sized so he works better as a #1 between the tackles. That being said Lindsay will still get his yards because he’s simply too motivated to stand back and let melvin have all the fun. Gonna be great to see this running game though

@b g The best thing that could have ever happened to Lindsay was having us get Gordon… this way Lindsay doesn’t have to do what Gordon Does so well & he can just do what he does at such an elite level… you stay healthy & have a long career & win some championships… you forget about all this unimportant stuff as to who the media called #1 & who got the most reps… that becomes a joke when you put your SB Ring on & know you were a MAJOR factor in that championship victory. Gordon if he stays healthy may have an NFL MVP season in the next 3 yrs… this is a scheme that fits him way way better than how he was used in San Diego [Now La] with the Chargers… would love to see the next 4 years being Gordon Lindsay & Freeman with someone being developed to take Gordon’s place upon retirement.

And yeah with the way we find undrafted talent, I wouldn’t be surprised if we find their successor by the next 2 years. Very exciting running back room, i think this is the most talent I’ve seen there since maybe those early 2000s broncos teams where any runner would go off for 1000+ yards. Very exciting

If Fangio believes AJ can be the DEF QB then AJ’s development has overcome his difficult start in the league & I am 100% confident he can handle the job… that being said this move apparently comes on the heels of Davis being asked to restructure so this move may be more about the $$$ than Davis no longer being the best DEF QB ILB in the room… it was suggested on the Nick & Cecil show with Stokely that this may be a preliminary cap move to bring in Amukamara… however it may be even bigger than that… there may be a flurry of player moves over the next few days to shore up positions where there was no clear winner in the room & Fangio believes we must have greater talent?!!? If so: #3 CB & OT.
Amukamara would be a great fit & if he is signed then I expect him to play #2 outside bringing Callahan inside. Although they would probably move around as Fangio likes to give QB’s difficult reads

I think he is good for 3 500+ yards 20 TD’s 7 INT’s & a 10- 6 record with a 1st PLAYOFF VICTORY under his belt… that would be an awesome achievement for his 1st actual full year starting under center
