I like both Qbs honestly
This guy is a great public speaker and played well. I get it that the jets are a bad team but we shouldn’t assume he’s not a great backup qb. If Jalen gets hurt I’m not gonna be mad to finish up with minshew
He’s had plenty of success in the league and has lit up plenty of teams. He gets the ball out fast and processes info much faster than Hurts. I think his career in JAX is something like 36TDs/11INTs. He’s totally capable and has moxie.

@easyfuzzylittlemanpeach Solid post. Yeah I’ve followed him when he was at Washington St being a Trojan alum. Dude has moxie and clearly knows how to play the position. Hurts I consider more of a Bortles type player. Lots of garbage time stats. As an Eagles fan I hope Minshew sees the field again soon and not in some mop up duty. He’s the better player.

@Wary Trout he’s from Flowood Mississippi where he won a national championship for Mississippi State Community College. He played for East Carolina then transferred to Washington State University where he led the nation in passing in 2018!!!

@Paul Miahky good back up to breakout on the eagles if we need him if hurts either goes down or doesn’t pan out. He could easily be a franchise QB in my opinion if he goes to another team

Competition at every level, that’s a Sirianni core value. Minshew is the better passer, no question, doesn’t matter that is against the Jets: he moves through his reads, delivers with timing and feel, places it away from defenders – things that you should be doing no matter the opponent.
They could make a movie about this guy and not have to pay an actor to play him.
