KC D actually got 4 really good stops in the first half. They also had Burrow dead to rights and allowed him to escape. Very close to the D winning more series in the 2nd half. But they didn’t match up against Chase, Higgins and company. KC secondary was significantly under-sized. Not so this season. But they’re young, and will get picked on. I just don’t think Burrow will make as many escapes.

Chiefs last win against the Bengals in Cincinnati was almost 40 years ago in 1984.
Joe Burrow is going to be 3-0 against Mahomes here soon. Bengals improved way more in the off-season, and didn’t even lose anything. You can’t say the same for the chiefs. They improved their secondary, but lost one of the best receivers in the league. The Bengals actually have a good OL this year. I would say that Mahomes will choke in the 2nd half for the 3rd time in a row, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bengals have the lead going into the second while still being a 2nd half team
Your view that kc hasn’t improved is incorrect. KC offense is better then it was last year. The chiefs have more ypg, ypc, more 20+ yard plays, more, 40+ yard plays, and more points per drive. Last year mahomes would force feed hill the ball even when hill wasnt open. This resulted in the most dropped passes that hill had in a season (13). 7 of those drops/deflections resulted in ints. Trading Hill is turning out to be a brilliant move by veach and the front office. Without Hill the chiefs have 3 players with 500+ yards, 6 players with 300+ yards, and ten players who have caught tds. Add in the fact that kc is rushing for a 110+ yards per game makes them more dominate then they ever been.
My prediction…Pain. Go Bengals!
