I wish we had Damien back. This little guy Clyde can’t get a dang yard without getting stuffed… it’s sad when you look at the history of chiefs running backs and how dominant they have been. No we as fans are embarrassed to talk about the run game
Nobody in the running backs have over 30 or 40 yards Clyde 2 30 yard and 1 40 yard
@S. O’Dell Clyde is most effective as a receiver out the backfield, like he was in college. It’s up to Andy and EB to use him more in the fashion. That’s what we had in mind when we drafted him. Remember, Mahomes had input on that pick. He’s still better than Pacheco.
@KSU 1989 I know Mahomes had input.. Bet he won’t get to pick a certain player again.. Maybe position. Clyde runs the ball well when he doesn’t have to pick the gap. When he follows the FB and Gs… But he’s NOT better than Pacheco
@S. O’Dell definitely better than Pacheco. Pacheco has no vision and thinks he’s either going to out run or run over the defender. He’s not at all a tactical runner. Clyde makes defenders miss all the time when he gets in the open field or it’s takes 2-3 to bring him down. Pacheco has no vision on kick off returns. That’s quite telling. I don’t care what his 40 time is. He’s actually RB4 behind Jones. Pacheco hasn’t looked better than Gore, truth be told.

I seriously couldn’t understand why we didn’t keep Williams.
He opted out of playing in 2020. Not much you can do when your team is in “win now” mode.
Trade for Kareem Hunt would definitely help the running game right away he knows the offense after the bye week he would be ready
