I have posted consistent doubt about Zach Wilson at #2. Mostly because Steve Young is the only similar comparison in traits.
What if you don’t draft the next Jerry Rice and Roger Craig to go with him. Then we become the Bucks and he proves the Jets wrong again after Darnold does it first this year in Carolina.
Then you could risk Newsome and Samuel at #23 & #34 if you could get Rousseau at #66.
The question remains can the Jets really keep taking the best available player on the board from pick #23 to #226
The possibility that etienne slipped to #86 would excite me also getting Jarret Patterson at #226 would be a huge cult favorite. Picks 107, 146, 154, 186 probably becomes to late to get enough offensive line talent to prevent a Zach Wilson injury.
Maybe Carl Lawson manages to pick the toughest OLBs in the later rounds to prove me wrong.
