@Luka Doncic how? Look at his tape, he faced defenses in vanilla coverages all season in a soft schedule. He never faced nfl level talent and if he did, it was probably 4 pkayers at most and they weren’t even considered 1st-2nd round talent. Not only that he had a very good oline with plenty of time to throw. He won’t have that much time with the Jets. I’m not a big fan of Fields cause OSU can’t produce successful NFL qbs, but at least he faced stronger competition same with Lawrence.
Exactly. You don’t trade that many picks to get 3rd overall to get the 4th or 5th best qb in the draft. If they did want either one and they wanted to move up, number 3 would have been a terrible spot. Dolphins wouldn’t get a qb, Atlanta will take Fields, Bengals and Eagles aren’t going qb so number 7 would have been a better spot to beat the panthers. If not, they would have been safe at 12 to grab on of them.
