Instead of worrying about that interception throwing machine crablegs winless this embarrassment of a team should focus on keeping the sack king Shaq Barrett because he should be the top priority not some overrated, irrelevant bum who thinks he’s worth $25-$30 million a year. Re-sign Shaq Barrett, sign Phillip Rivers, and trade for runningback David Johnson, sign a few second tier offensive lineman and draft washington quarterback Jacob Eason to sit behind Phillip Rivers for a year bam! Drastically improved team.
Disagree, Hes a change of pace guy. Try to get him in space , etc. He runs timid, too many stutter steps n slipping n falling. He gets the one or two big holes and gets a decent run . The rest.. about 1.9 YPC. He can’t block on pass protection either. Barber hits the hole properly just lacks the vision n second level ability. TB needs OL help and a TRUE 3 down #1 RB.

The hype over shaq barrett is overrated. Only 2 defensive players in the history of the nfl has had 2 back to back career years. I don’t think barrett will be one of them because the bucs will likely not resign suh. History tells this to be true. Hes a good player though.
carter1431 that’s a pretty bold take, dude was part of one of the greatest defenses of all time with the broncos and got to play and learn behind Von Miller and Demarcus Ware.
@Collin Sanders ask yourself what did kalil mack do this season, compared to 2018. Its football. Matter if fact what did von miller do after his breakout year?
carter1431 so with your logic every defensive player that has a good season is automatically over hyped after the season is over? And with that same logic the two potential hall of famers you just named are undeserving of big contracts? So What’s the incentive for defensive players to have any quality play at all if everyone in the league thought with that same logic

@Collin Sanders what im saying is everyone is acting as if barrett will automatically repeat his performance from this year but history says otherwise. I say sign him on the franchise tag. If they dont sign suh or JPP the run defense will take a few steps backwards. Also remember the crazy good year vic Beasley had with the Falcons but what has he done since.

I like Shaq stand up guy and gives effort with that alone pay him…I love the thought of Winston but it’s a thought you can’t win games with all those turnovers…either beef up that o line or get an efficient Qb that’s what it is period…and keep suh number one run d in the league knowing we were iffy at secondary we need to be good somewhere
If they get Winston some corrective lenses, the turnovers will drop considerably. If you looks at him on the sideline after a pick, he’s squinting. Like he’s struggling to see and focus his vision.
