Reich, stop forcing the “Wentz is our guy argument”, we win games by running the football. Wentz should never be throwing on first down when Colts are up by less than seven. That Leonard INT should’ve ended in points but you gave the ball to Wentz instead of running the ball 🙄
@Wesley Hofer yea I feel like you’re making a ton of excuses for him. I’m not saying he’s a horrible QB but I’m saying he is inconsistent and prone to a lot of mistakes when he has to carry the game instead of the run game… I’ll say top 15, I can name over ten QBs I trust more. If you ask every single colts fan, you’ll get at least 80% that believe the only thing that would stop us from making a run to the championship, their answer would be Wentz. Hell not only fans but the entire world
@Jamalus Varnado I’m not blindly defending Carson. I’m just trying to be fair. When Mahomes or Stafford or Allen throw INTs it’s not that bad but when Wentz throws 6 we talk about them as if he’s thrown 16. I’m sorry bro but you won’t convince me that Wentz isn’t scrutinize more than alot of other QBs. And there are people out there who simply “hate” Wentz and it’s not based off performance or stats because let’s be honest. We were having these same conversations about Wentz long before this year or last year. People were criticizing him in Philly when he almost won the MVP and basically carried them to the postseason in 2019.
@Jamalus Varnado All I want is to hold everyone to the same standard. I don’t judge anyone based on any narrative surrounding them. But we obviously won’t agree on everything so I’m going to end it at that here.
@Wesley Hofer you’re right we won’t agree but you’re skipping around all the points I make to preach against the narrative of Wentz or his comparison to other QBs in the league. I don’t care how the media views him or the colts, hell I love being the underdog. My concern is only what I see with the colts and them getting as close as possible to the SB. And from what I’ve SEEN, not what the media is saying, JT HAS to stay the focal point of the offense and keeps Carson’s attempts low. Cause it’s been shown already that when he has a lot of attempts he’ll hurt us. We can agree to disagree, it’s cool ✌🏾

It was very close to a 15-18 point loss. They were fortunate to get that PI call to help tie it, that extremely lucky TY TD, and the officials easily could’ve not overturned that 2nd Renfrow TD.

Colts come out flat. Didn’t execute. Bad penalties that were drive stoppers. But you sure did get outcoached. This may be the worst this team has played since early on this season. The Raiders deserved to win, but they might be our worst loss. The Colts are the better team and failed to play like it.

Yes this is a disappointing loss, I’m still not sold on Wentz (never was), you can’t win them all. I think colts are still winning at least a wildcard

“They had a lot to play for” And we didn’t? We could of clinched a playoff berth with a win. This team did not play like they wanted it. Played like a team that thinks they are automatically going to beat the Jaguars. Not a good sign even if we make the playoffs.

I think the Colts were overly confident. It’s not that they came out flat. It’s most likely they underestimated their opponent. At least that’s the body language I read. Of course, missing time due to covid could’ve been the difference maker, too.
p.s. honoring John Madden memory should’ve been a good enough indicator of a trap game #WhatFiresYouUp

This is so funny stop acting like the afc West has been a hard division the whole time the raiders have played there. Kansas City just started to be good a couple years ago. And the broncos and chargers have always been alright but not elite.

Someone tell me one time when a screen to Hines has EVER gone well this season? Especially on a 2nd and long. Reich needs to throw that play out of the book.
After I seen the spread jump up to -8.5 Colts, I knew to stay away and pick Vegas.
Should of kept Rivers one more year and had Wentz back him up and learn .so anxious to get rid of him after he proved himself with no off-season and way less run game last year.
This loss is definitely going to help strengthen their offense, Wentz has to be better under pressure.
There’s tons to be proud of this season!
