Frank Reich On Injury Updates, Remaining Focused

Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich announced that the team will continue to monitor the health and status of both Anthony Castonzo and Braden Smith while Khari Willis and Michael Pittman Jr. are in concussion protocol and how the team is remaining focused on preparing for the Jaguars as they make a push for the playoffs in Week 17.

We need to win against Jacksonville go colts 🟦⬜️🟦⬜️

    Colts n Heat Talk

@Dan Pfaffenberger I know, we would likely be the 6 seed if Buffalo and Pittsburgh win. I would prefer to play in Pittsburgh again with Smith and Castonzo. Not to mention, Khari Willis could be back, he got hurt yesterday. I would rather avoid Baltimore in the wildcard, they are on a roll

    Colts n Heat Talk

I would imagine Buffalo will try to win: 1) they could get the 2 seed with a win and home field advantage in the divisional, 2) they could control who they play, if they take an L, they likely play Baltimore, if they take a W, they either play Indy or Miami. If I’m being honest, we’re not better than Baltimore, so I would think they’d prefer to play Miami or Indy

    Colts n Heat Talk

@Dan Pfaffenberger I doubt Pittsburgh plays their starters. Recall: in 2017 when they had a chance at the one seed, they rested their starters (I know they played the 0-15 browns) but still, I doubt they play their starters next week. Although I would love to see it happen

    Dan Pfaffenberger

@Colts n Heat Talk I don’t. In 17 the 2 seed had a bye. This team needs a win to get the second seed, but Ibgiess you never know

    Dan Pfaffenberger

    @Colts n Heat Talk I agree completely.

I’m colts proud. Good job coach

So when are we going to get better? Seems like we practiced more for our soul train line dance than our 4th quarter plays that will actually work.

    Dan Pfaffenberger

Are you under the impression that the team takes practice time to work on their celebrations?

George Klipp

What drives did you have in the second half you only scored 3 points REALLY!!!

Phil Sinex

I love how dumb fans question coach all the time – like Philip Rivers is our QB, what did you expect lol

Chris Gardocki

Sacks for loses and penalties took over 110 yards away from the Colts. Penalties and sacks is a discipline problem. Sacks have not been a consistent problem but penalties have been in 2020…

    Anna Albertelli

I think sacks and hits was due a lot to us missing our tackles on both sides and then having an injury midgame as well. That combined with the steelers generally being really good at getting sacks and pressures this year. Just a really really bad time to have our tackles out. But I mean with how things were going in the first half, there definitely seems to have been more to the puzzle there. Hoping (assuming we make the playoffs) we can begin a style of play where we attack our opponents all 4 quarters and just dominate, rather than winning a quarter or two and then playing “prevent”. Running a team like that is very Chargers-esque and gives too many of us PTSD. Let’s just go destroy some teams

    Craig Lortie

@Anna Albertelli i think the stamina of the second string was below par of the people they replaced, by the end of the of the first half they were just too wore out.

Chris Johnson

Run the damn ball

Kathy Beef ante

Copy cat Big Ben!” You called it short pass, ran 3 yds. A cloud of dust””! Colts in your house, too.
Embarrassing 1 st half. Sorry!
Not happening again. Go Colts!

Eli Grimes

It’s a tough sport and anything can go wrong. I’m not about to pretend as a fan that I know how to improve or do anything differently to change the outcomes of games. If the season ends after next week, it was a fun ride. I was proud of the team this season. Go. Colts.

Thad Rasberry

1-0 all we are

MichaelDemented

Eat that loss Frank and let’s bounce back with explosiveness next week!

Jbrea Williams

Game should of been a blowout game changed after Ben threw that 💣 team just lose momentum let go colts jags in a bag

Abraham Flores

Good thing, there 4 results that can get you into the playoffs as long as you win.

Anna Albertelli

With the amount of points we’ve been allowing and the shaky nature of our previous couple games, it’s definitely a bit scary. But if we make the playoffs I overall have confidence in this team. We’ve had a couple shaky injuries and lost momentum a bit too easily, but if we can just fix the small stuff I think we can consistently make big upsets if we’re given the chance. I’d love to have another shot vs the Steelers

Aye I’m fat

Why did we go away from JT he was being very productive

Ty Knotts1

Let’s go colts! We all hate losses but we will keep looking forward, no matter what happens we had a great season, I believe in our team and our head coach! Let’s go frank

R. T.

Let’s go Colts!! Let’s get that W on Sunday!

Craig

it’s never simple? it’s hard to find an answer? How about you ran Taylor 3 times in the entire second half. The problem is Frank’s playcalling. The colts are screwed until frank is either fired or replaced as the playcaller. He’s terrible.

“It’s a flow of the game thing” is his excuse for throwing the ball non-stop with a 20+ point lead. This guy man, he does NOT actually take responsibility. He says it, but he doesn’t do it. If he REALLY wanted to take responsibility he’d let the OC call the plays during the game and he would act like a proper head coach.

Instead is GIANT EGO gets in the way and HE has to be the guy to call the plays and it’s cost us so much this season.

Coach Reich I like to see Dezmon Patmon week 17
