Frank Reich On Approach To Playoffs, Buffalo Bills

@Will Brown Yes I actually think we can. We stopped Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, and that’s the best QB/WR duo in football. We for he most part held Deshaun Watson where we needed to, who’s far better than Josh Allen. I think either team legitimately can win, and the Bills are favored for a reason, but the Colts also play far better as underdogs. As well, JT running game will open up the passing game for playoff Rivers, who will prolly throw an interception, but our second half defense will three and out you and get the ball right back. You guys don’t have a run game basically, so that leaves more people open to cover in zone. It should be a fun game, and I think either team can win.

@Tyler Robertson the thing is we run when we need to. We don’t run a lot bc we don’t need to. There is no way you can stop brown, Diggs, and Cole. We just played the number 1 scoring defense and mashed them. Colts defense isn’t bad but its not better than Miami’s . If the colts can’t score over 28 points then there is no way you can stick wound with the bills. You stopped rogers but Rogers doesn’t have as many weapons as the bills. You slow down Diggs, we still have 2 receivers that can put 100 yard games on anyone. I have no problem with the colts. Beautiful city, nice stadium respectable people. Whoever wins this game i pray they take out kc.

Then 3 other colts fans came at me so I had to set them straight. You came at me respectful so I do the same. I’ve always liked passing stopping through Indianapolis. The bills are red hot. But they have been hot for a long time. Every since the hail Murray 6 weeks ago.. idk if the colts can match Buffalos offensive attack. Very few can. Good luck

@OnlyOneBuffalo bills have like the 20th rank run defense and 16th rank pass defense, they have allowed over 2000 yards this year on the ground… 600 more than the colts have allowed

@Stealthy Prime Bill’s have had serious injuries to their top defenders for the entire first half of the season. They have the #6 run defense since week 9. Solid defense since getting starters back.

Couldn’t have said it better. This guy needs to be tougher on the team. He needs to be realistic and not optimistic. I’ve lost some respect for him this year with his play call.

I noticed that in his post game presser he said that the OL didn’t execute well enough. I thought that to be sharp language coming from Reich, who is protective of player ego to a fault. I marked it as sort of a turning point in him showing some balls to the media. Sometimes the play calling IS good and the players just fail to execute. Like on third and short against the #27 rush defense in the NFL. But it looks like that isn’t a new norm as i had hoped. More like an anomaly amidst a slew of apologies for mediocre play. I don’t fault play calling as much as I fault lack of discipline and technique in key situations. I mean, he can’t create a hole for the RB himself as coach. At some point that falls on the offensive line. that’s just an example. I agree this is going to be a tough game. But if we execute as a team and run the damn ball, we have a nice shot at winning. Healthy secondary would certainly help.

Strategy,,,show the playoffs opponents nothing. This is a well coached team the Colts. And due to Rivers quick release he always torched the Bills only 6,700 won’t be enough to affect the game. Hopefully Bills win but I wanted to say Colts play calling is fine. He’s smart don’t show the cards in ur hands

When we go up by two tds we just let off the gas as if we already won the game that’s how we let Pittsburgh comeback if we go up on the bills we need to keep gas pushin and come out in the second half and play like the score is 0-0 or that we are playin from behind tryin to get back in the game we need to keep the pressure on these guys

You guys are better than KC in my opinion. If we can beat you guys that’s our hardest game out of the way in round 1. I’m not saying we will but who knows. This colts team has lost to Jacksonville this year but also has beaten the packers and titans. If we lose I’m rooting for the Bills to win it all. Good luck on Saturday!

My first Bills jersey ever was frank reich. Born in early 80s and really fell in love with the team the year he played for Kelly in the playoffs. My dad tried so hard to talk me into a Kelly or Reed jersey but i wouldnt budge. Maybe the Bills curse will follow him instead of us. He was a part of it afterall
