We’re not going anywhere with this man

    Tactful_Colt

IF we get into the playoffs (unlikely), we’re going to get smoked.

    Shardae Loading

@Tactful_Colt we’re not we’re going to have a huge lead in the first half and when second half comes we get out coached and lose the lead

    FACTS

Dan

I do not understand blaming the play calling for this loss. The offense was dominating the Bucs D after going heavy pass. Dominating. They lost due to 4 turnovers. It’s really that simple. 4 turnovers account for 24 points against, not mention lost opportunities to score yourself. In the NFL when you lose the turnover battle by 2, you’re going to lose. The fact that it was close at all is amazing.

    Daniel Mustang

@Aron We’re 4-1 with zero turnovers and we’re 2-5 with >0 turnovers. Statistics don’t tell the whole story mate.

    Daniel Mustang

@Aron I’d rather him throw to the guy with the one on one chance than into the group. That’s a junk time turnover is my point, I don’t count that. Might as well have been an incomplete pass. The ball was underthrown, like too many of Wentz’s passes recently.

    Aron

@Daniel Mustang Every above .500 team we’ve played we have relied on a pass only offense besides the Bills. Reich wants Wentz to be the Hero. We’ve seen how that has played out. When we’ve relied on Wentz to throw us into games he is 0-5 and don’t forget a majority of turnovers come from the QB position. You can’t deny those statistics.

BhBraaq

Frank called a good game. We just can’t give up 5 turn overs. We had 10 all season then 5 in one game. Most notably was Fisher giving up that strip sack and Hines dropping the punt. Very avoidable turn overs that resulted in points for Tampa. Great game Frank, you torched the league’s best Defense. Sometimes players let you down but no one is perfect. Even the best players make mistakes.

    Jaguar ENT

So where soppose to hold that line all game passing 26 times in a row ?

    Aron

    3 turnovers on passing plays.

    C Truth

The players failed to execute the game plan cleanly. Nothing was wrong with the play calling. Reich called it correctly. That one was on the players. Smh at the people, who believe the Colts offense is supposed to blow out every good team. That ain’t gonna happen. Sometimes you’ll get a lead & win but the offense can’t stop the opposing offense from scoring. Defense always comes out guns blazing playing lights out. Then they fade in the second half. Without the turnovers the Colts would’ve beaten the Bucs. Pittman was supposed to win the jump ball battle. How does a 5’9 guy out jump a 6’4 man? Make it make sense.

    Aron

@C Truth it was working UNTIL the 2nd half when we had back to back Turnovers and then another all on passing plays to lose the game. The Bucs adjusted to the pass while we refused to run the ball. He got outcoached again. We’re 0-5 when Wentz throws 35+ and 6-1 when he throws under 35. And undefeated when Taylor rushes for 100+. Reich needs to step up.

David Rogers

I have no issues with the run vs. pass that everyone seems to be caught up in. We were moving the ball down field. Take away 3 of the 5 turnovers (maybe just 2) and we are not having this discussion.

    C Truth

@Aron The defensive line and the defensive coordinator are so in love with Tom Brady. Its seems to me, nobody in the NFL has learned one thing from the NYG defensive blueprint on how to beat Tom Brady. The NYG wrote the book. Only the WFT have learned. You don’t let Tom Brady throw the ball–period. You MUST sack Tom Brady! Its the only way. Now, I don’t wonder why Brady can carve up any Colts team blind folded.

    Daniel Niese

    @bryson I didn’t know a punt was considered a passing play

    Aron

@C Truth They knew it was going to be a pass because we ran 26 consecutive pass plays. A strip sack was the result of the defense knowing the play calls as well as the interceptions. We easily could have ran in the 2nd half because they were playing the pass which is why we turned the ball over 3 times in the passing game. This isn’t the first time that the “pass first” mentality has lost us games

    Blake Francis Boggs

@Aron you know one of those interceptions didn’t count

    Aron

@Blake Francis Boggs it’s still counts… Anytime you throw into triple coverage and underthrow the pass when the game is on the line it counts as an interception.

What’s tony dungy doing nowadays?🧐

We do not need an explanation on our play calling. It has been fantastic all year since week 4. When you play great teams and Tom Brady, you have to be perfect in execution and can’t turn the ball over, let alone 5 times. Tom Brady is way to good. Great game coach!

    C Truth

    Exactly!

    Austin Morgan

    @T S enjoy your evening!

Aron

He literally admitted to playing right into the Bucs game plan 😂

    C Truth

@Nat Wru What choice did he have? The Colts couldn’t establish the running game. This means the Colts couldn’t impose their will on the Bucs defense. So Reich adjusted his tactics. I have no problem with that. The failure lies with the players failure to execute and this is nit picking. Because the Colts certainly have the physicality, power & ability to beat a team like that. They just have to execute cleanly. All those turnovers & they still went to overtime! The trench war was so furious Vita Vea’s teeth got knocked out. The Bucs executed better & played smarter. That was the difference—experience.

    Daniel Niese

@aron typically zone coverage is more of a run defense because defenders eyes are in the backfield apposed to on a receiver in man-to-man

    Aron

@Daniel Niese Players are in coverage meaning they move away from the line of scrimmage giving more space to run…..

    SpiritWalk

Nonsense … you’re rewriting what happened…. despite leading for a good chunk of the game, the Colts gave Tom Brady +3 possessions.

    Case closed.

    Aron

@SpiritWalk 2 from back to back turnovers in the passing game which lead right into their game plan.

    Case Closed.

Jaguar ENT

Don’t flinch! Don’t flinch! You the most scariest coach in the league when you face good teams with good defenses. You have no believe in our run game and it shows!!!! You were happy to lose passing yesterday in press conference rather than win run. Look at our blowouts frank what was run pass ratio !!!!!!!! No excuse then look at our loses!!! You make me hate rooting for this team

Alonzo Baylor

MAAN I’m tired of the same stuff everytime we blow leads this has been happening wit Frank since last year he Goes away from what is obviously the best player on our team JONATHAN TAYLOR

Sean

Ouch. Sounds like an end of season presser.

Jesus Ortiz

Honestly on our last scoring drive there was no urgency to hurry up and score and wasted away minutes on that drive that we could a used to score again and take it to ot I knew exactly how this game was guna end Tom Brady gets the ball with enough time to score and leave us no time we shoulda been in a hurry to score knowing our defense wasn’t guna hold up after 17 unanswered pointed

Jesus Ortiz

No pressure from our dline we shoulda kept Justin Houston and denico autry felt like our dline was way better last season

    Lefty Stomper

I liked that Kwity had another sack, I feel like he is building toward something! Their is hope.

Trey Anastasio

Coach Reich is so handsome! The Colts are very lucky to have a handsome coach like Coach Reich coaching their team! Other teams like the Patriots cannot relate! Go Colts!

Lefty Stomper

I see so many folks that are ready to get rid of this man, let’s see what happens when he has a little continuity at qb. I just want to see if they will get better with Wentz! I just think he is a good coach in a bad spot. Much love from SC

DrD

It’s tough to credit a loss, but that game was lights out Frank and company. Play calling and execution was on point. You can’t accumulate that many drop passes and turnovers and expect to win.

    BUILT DIESEL MAFIA

Play calling was on point? What? What game did you watch? Because the play calling in the 2nd half was borderline Junior High man.

Paul Egger

I’ve been voicing the same cocerns for weeks now. Would of, Could of ,Should of, I fell confident the team will handle there business this weekend against the Texans.BUT, it won’t mean anything if COACH is saying all these same things AFTER the New England game.
