There has been no greater play in NFL history than the Immaculate Reception. Franco was a great player as well as a respected man in the community. RIP Franco

Happy you posted this. NFL should be ashamed for cutting away to commercial.
A fitting tribute to a legendary football player and wonderful human being.
Rest in peace in the arms of our Lord, Franco.

R.I.P. Mr. Harris. From a Eagles fan, what a treat to watch him play.

Why am I tearing up watching this on Christmas Day? So sad that he didn’t get to see his jersey retire…

William White

I’m not a Steeler fan but I did enjoy watching Franco and how solid a runner he was and his service to the city of Pittsburgh. Gone but not forgotten. RIP #32.

How the hell did the NFL Network spend the entire week teasing this Franco Harris ceremony, teasing it during the entire pregame show, and teasing it during the game ONLY FOR IT TO CUT AWAY JUST BEFORE THE TRIBUTE AIRED?????

Karl Park

He was a great running back but I’m told he was even better person.

jema2609

I’m glad to FINALLY see this! Sunday Ticket cut to commercials after Mrs. Harris was handed the jersey….😀

Dan the Man

One of the all-time greats. His “Immaculate Reception” is simply the greatest play in NFL history. Bar none.

So sad that he passed away, especially right before this. But at least he knew that his #32 was going to be retired.

Shame on the NFL Network for cutting to commercial instead of showing this tribute. That was worse than NBC cutting to “Heidi” instead of showing the end of the Jets-Raiders in ’68. Can’t help but wonder who the moron was that made _that_ decision. Thankfully, the Steelers posted it here for all to see.

Casimiro Leal

From a cowboy fan . You were great man . Love you man
