I agree with the “unfortunately” comment. Lord forbid the most popular sport in the US be more inclusive, when there’s money to be made.
I would argue that this isnt the first TD on Prime. It’s a preseason game, for which stats may be kept but are unofficial as they do not count towards any sort of records. Official TD 1 wont occur until the first regular season game played on Prime.

Correction. Four seasons… there has been NFL games simulcast on Amazon Prime for four years.
This IS the first year they have exclusive rights…
So, I suppose the first TD scored in the first regular season Thurs Night game will be the 1st ever on a game that Amazon Prime, and ONLY Prime, has broadcast.
The first TD scored in Pittsburgh this season will be the first scored ever at that stadium. I mean, there have been thousands of others, but it has a new name and sponsorship, so all of those other scores were scored at Heinz Field and Three Rivers Stadium.
Doing games on prime video is just stupid. You know not everyone wants to pay for prime video. Why the heck is this a better outlet than a real tv channel?

You have, and so has a lot of us, but this is the first year that it won’t be simulcast.
For the last four seasons, Thurs Night game’s were on Fox and Prime (and, occasionally, other networks). But, now, Amazon owns the rights to stream Thurs Night games, exclusively.
In world of “records” and “firsts”, this is one of the dumber one’s. It, technically, is the first TD scored when Amazon Prime (and ONLY Amazon Prime) broadcast it.
