Chiefs needed a late field goal in their house Monday night to beat the struggling Giants. Chiefs defense is beyond suspect. We need to take the same approach we took vs Arizona…run the ball, keep Kansas City’s offense on the bench, take shots off play action, and force turnovers vs an impatient team. Packers win 33-21, Love in his first start throws for 275 yards and 2 touchdowns, Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon combine for over 200 rushing yards, scoring a touchdown each, Davante goes for 100 yards receiving and a touchdown, defense force 3 more turnovers, and 5 sacks.
I doubt we put up 30 points lol. Chris jones is back at DT last week and their def payed the best all year. Plus they traded for Ingram and will rotational rush with an excellent pff grade. We have a chance but the chiefs are playing better on def and as long as Love doesn’t turn it over I think we win but that’s asking a lot for his first start. I think he turns it over at least once via a tipped pass or a linebacker isn’t on a slant. His slants in the preseasons he was starring down the wr.
@Charles Chris Jones, yes. But there’s a reason why Melvin Ingram lasted as long as he did during free agency. He’s nowhere near the explosive pass rusher that he once was early in his career with the Chargers. If he couldn’t get numbers opposite T.J. Watt in Pittsburgh and not beat out a projected backup at his position, I have no confidence of him suddenly turning on the switch against us on Sunday. I still like our chances vs this defense, and even with Love, I think we can hit 30 on K.C.
