I’ve heard they are expecting high winds….which would impact the throwing gam…..why isn’t someone talking about that?
They asked getsy about Aaron throwing in the wind in a press conference earlier this week, he noted that Aaron Rodgers is the best thrower in the wind he’s ever seen
Wind is expected around 10 mph at game time. That is far from “high winds.”
No one is talking about wind because it won’t be windy for the game.
There needs to be a “Next man up” award for players like Rasul Douglas and De’ Vondre Campbell.
@La Ronch Actually I would call these both candidates for “Finds of the Year” by Gutey and his staff. Or as AR said one time, the “personnel department.”
@La Ronch Wasn’t Campbell on the street when the Packers picked him up after his one-year deal with Arizona wasn’t renewed? That may not be specifically replacing an injured starter, but it’s certainly filling a need by a player cast off by the rest of the league.
@Doc Tar that’s Douglas he came off Arizona’s practice squad. Campbell if I remember right the Packers picked up off the street and he was with the Falcons last year. And I will agree, he filled a hole the Packers desperately needed to fill and was an amazing pickup with a player no one was looking at. I was just saying, for next man up of replacing an injured player he dosent apply. Douglas absolutely does though and if there was an award he should absolutely win it. He went from practice squad to securing a starting spot on a super bowl roster that’s talent
