A Real JaMerican I’m really hoping Trey Burton has a breakout game, we tried to get him the ball a good amount last week and if Rivers can get passes to 3 different TEs quickly it can help make it easier on the O-line
I am not too worried about Leonard being out. Colts have won games despite him being inactive. They have a lot of depth in the linebacker corps. I am more concerned about Castonzo being out for this game. Hopefully, Le’Raven Clark plays well. He may get help from one of the tight ends (most probably Jack Doyle) in pass protection.
Felix Francis the reason I’m worried about Leonard missing is because all but one LB was injured at some point this week, it’s a deep group but they’re all banged up

I’m so glad Mo is having a good season, he’s got such a good attitude and I’m so glad he’s no longer behind Ebron, he’s one of those guys like Jacoby where regardless of skill I want the best for them

I’m surprised how much the passing game has regressed under Rivers. At this point in the season last year, Brissett had 10 TD passes and 2 INTs. Rivers has 4 TD passes and 3 INTs. That is a huge point differential. While Rivers may have the better career numbers, it seems Brissett understands how to work better with the talent around him. The run game has also suffered under Rivers. He Colts are a run team and he takes the ball away from the team’s strength.
Offensive line hasn’t been as good as last year, and Marlon Mack tore his Achilles. TY hasn’t played his best, some non-ty like drops. Doyle and Burton have had injuries. We’ve lost 2 receivers to injury as well. Let’s not put all of our offensive woes on 17, it’s a team effort. We will pick it up. Also taylor has had some vision issues early, that he should get better at, he’s a rookie.
@lewk utube Line is playing no worse or better than it did last year and last year Brissett lost pretty much his entire starting receiving team. Let’s not forget what a complete wreck Ebron was. Colts may have lost Mack but they have Taylor. Let’s not make excuses for Rivers when Brissett had a more depleted receiving team the entire season. Rivers just isn’t a good fit with this team and it shows in the lack of offensive production for the unit.
dude you literally picked the first four games to pronounce brisset is a better option then rivers!?do a little deeper dive buddy.he fell apart,got hurt,came back looked brutal.his third down completion rate was terrible.rivers had no o.t.a.s ,limited training camp,no preseason games ,lost paris cambell(who credit to rivers was looking like a breakout year),lost marlon mack(by far the most versatile and experienced r.b.), michael pittman was looking good gets hurt,just got trey back last game and you call those exuses?time of possession equals winning football.dfense fell apart last year with the constant three and outs.everyone knows brisset is capable but your trippin if you think rivers isnt going to get better with a little time.they should be 4-0 if t.y. didnt have 4 drops in the loss,one being a 47 yard dime in the endzone .
Brissett could only play vs terrible/banged up teams. This year when he’s been in, he has looked much worse than Rivers has with same team.
