Fantasy Football: Dealing with NFL Week 12 Injuries

Fantasy Football: Dealing with NFL Week 12 Injuries

Nov 25, 2013

.
Let’s take a look at some Week 12 injuries that could have an impact for fantasy football players.
.
Jason Campbell: Diagnosed with a concussion. You aren’t using him anyway. Josh Gordon did just fine with Brandon Weeden under center.
.
Chris Ivory: Injured his ankle. Was able to play through it. Ivory has a nice matchup if he’s healthy. Bilal Powell would make a nice spot start should Ivory be forced out of action.
.
Ryan Mathews: Suffered a hamstring injury. His status is up in the air. Danny Woodhead would be a nice option if Mathews missed any time. Ronnie Brown could get extra run, but Philip Rivers and the passing game would likely carry more of the load.
.
Knowshon Moreno: Moreno left it all on the field. His elbow was bloody. He was wearing crutches after hurting his ankle. If Moreno is unable to go, Montee Ball could be the top option. He did fumble his way into the doghouse last week though. Stay tuned.
.
Zac Stacy: Suffered a concussion in the midst of shredding the Chicago Bears to the tune of 87 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries. Benny Cunningham would be worth a look if Stacy is to miss any time. With San Francisco and Arizona on the immediate horizon, Cunningham would only have flex appeal.
.
Daniel Thomas: Tore ligaments in his ankle. He’s done for the year. Lamar Miller gets a big boost in value. Still, the offensive line issues aren’t going away.
