@Morgan Leigh yup huge amounts of $$ went missing after that. I also saw a video from that very same morning a local news interviewed people what they saw, 2 or 3 said they saw a gray plane hit the buildings like a military plane…….

It really was amazing how everyone came together. I was a construction worker in the city that day, the city had a different feeling for a while.

A touch of class upon a League that hasn’t shown much lately. The Patriotic New Yorkers are setting the NFL straight. We remember 9/11, but we also remember 9/12, when every one of those Red-Blooded American citizens looked for every flag they could find to fly, and stood shoulder-to-shoulder singing our nation’s anthem, not taking a knee to it, and not hiding in a locker room from it.

Some people never “get” that the anthem represents ALL of us,.. every man, woman and child.. Every origin, ethnicity, every creed, faith or non faith.. Like I learned in Boot so many years ago..
The ONLY color that matters, is the Red blood we all share, and the Idea that America represents,
we are all Americans who hold Liberty, Freedom dear in our hearts.. When trouble comes.. we stand together, brothers, sisters and offer each other a hand to get back up.. The voices that would drive us apart do not speak for all of us.. We’re all Americans, neighbors.. and friends if we can set our differences aside to join together, respect each other and reach for the Light.. to be what we aspire to be.
