Fans Create Electric Atmosphere At SoFi Stadium For Rams’ Wild Card Win Over Cardinals

@Tim Alan Niner fans don’t have to travel. There are more Niner fans in L.A. metro than Ram fans.

@Royce Skepagny that’s weird. There’s 18 million people in LA, if they can’t attract 65k hometown fans for the NFL conference championship game, they don’t deserve a team and certainly not 2 teams. I wish my city had 1 team. Its crazy that hardly nobody cares about the Rams in LA. It’s a cool team. It’s like what Maximus Meridius said. “Are you not entertained?”

@Tim Alan I’m an L.A. native born and bred. In L.A. a team has to be considered cool. For whatever reason the Rams are just not considered cool. The Lakers are cool, the Dodgers are cool, the Raiders are cool. I think the name “Rams” is a problem. It’s too vanilla. Not exciting, enough. If the Rams could do a rebranding that could really help, IMHO. A name like “Vampires” might do the trick. You can market that and it’s unique. Have never heard of any other sports team having that name. “Rams” too ordinary, not trendy enough. L.A. hates ordinary. L.A. loves trendy. Trendy is usually superficial and that describes L.A. to a tee. Look, I love my city but I am honest about it, too. Wish L.A. fans had more passion but the fact is they don’t. Too much else to do. The beaches, the mountains, Las Vegas all nearby. L.A. sports teams are an afterthought for the majority of the population, here.

@Royce Skepagny Thats sad. They look pretty flashy to me. Superbowl contender with big name stars up and down the roster, clean new unis and a 5 billion dollar stadium. Any other city would be thrilled. LA is a crazy place.

Totally agree, I live in Las Vegas but I’m a diehard Rams fan from two generations. After seeing the 49ers take over SoFi Stadium, I was shocked and disappointed. I also believe it’s contributed to the Rams’ loss that game.

@Daniel Ray I was at that game.. it was definitely demoralizing to see a sea of red at that game and we were definitely out numbered. It had to do with our squad already having a playoff spot and the 9ers needing that W to make the playoffs, but still

Rams had better support in St. Louis than L.A. Would have been better for them if they had stayed there. L.A. wanted the Raiders to come back, not the Rams.
