They really are. Actively attempting to improve at every single position on the team every single year, exactly as the highly credible and very underrated GM has clearly stated he would.

The multiplier for the “I’d trust AB with my first born child” bumperstickers versus the “I trust Phil Sewage” should be set at about 3 million. Because that is the limit I am choosing for my imaginary scenario. Seriously though, what’s up with that?? Savage had a weird loyal group of fans like nothing I have ever seen considering he was a GM. Comparatively AB is on pace to be one of if not THE Greatest GM of all time.

Undeniably huge achievements have been made by Jimmy’s Ivy League hires. Pre Holmgren it wasn’t even run like other NFL teams were and systems were not even in place. Jimmy had to learn the entire boat from tip of top sail to bottom of main anchor. He rebuilt this entire thing and he deserves a lot more credit than I hear him getting. He had to learn the entire business and has had a journey to get here but the results speak for themselves. Just 1-31 a handful of years ago and now the talking heads are putting them in contention for the SUPER BALL OF IT ALL!!
He’s fired a lot of people (or agreed w their firing) along the way ranging from Banner to Hue as notable timelines and it hasn’t been as fast as any of us had hoped but better late than never at least happens. It isn’t like it was an easy task. Throughout the process he has never stopped improving the team. You can also see the management’s effort to preserve the ability to cultivate and sustain long term success. Everyone is doing their job and it is working. Currently no single individual is bigger than the team either. Tough decisions are always going to need to be made and this staff consistently delivers. And it starts with the top. I imagine Dee is a great sounding board and critical thinker who is also very supportive. Marrying her was a recipe for a supreme power couple. The team is again making a legitimate run this year. I may not believe this is a SB year for us, but I believe in Jimmy Haslam. 🇺🇸

Actually, D’Earnest Johnson was a very good kick returner. I am surprised he was not utilized more that way before. I like this signing.

Special teams has always been one of the tipping points we’ve needed to close these close games. Thank you Andrew Berry!! As a life long fan I’ve never been so amazed by what he is putting together.

@Joe Chung I grew up in Cleveland and went to every Browns home game in the 1980’s as a kid. Around 80 games. Elway, the Drive playoff game – I was there. The Browns were exciting in the late 80’s. But yes, AB is really killing it…but we still have to temper expectations. It’s one season as a time and great teams on paper don’t always pan out.
