Wsshjngtons not a bad team really though. Their record isn’t reflective of their talent and skill set. Keep in mind they didnt even start grooving till Alex was in and 3 games were lost by 3 points or less with no time on the clock. This mostly young guys with EASILY a top 8 defense and a new coaching staff. Those 3 games are the difference in this team being 7-5 compared to 5-7.
On paper those are two completely different teams. If we win out ever game we’ll be 9-7 and that’s objectively a reasonable playoff team. A 9-7 team in one division might actually be a bully contender in another later in the season. Especially one that’s built on a hunger dominant defense. It wasnt even 3yrs ago the Eagles won a SB so the rise and decline of this division is quick if nothing and let’s be honest, Washington hasn’t had the vibe for awhile so give credit where credits due. They’re playing dominant football and showing some spark in potential.
Kinda sums up the raiders except we beat good teams and lose to the bad ones

I don’t know why everybody is complaining about the blitz, it was a good blitz at the right time. The problem is, it didn’t get home. Carr somehow found a hole up the middle and was able to step up and buy himself the necessary time for Ruggs to get downfield. Without that extra second or 2, Carr is dead meat. Kudos to the Raiders for picking it up. And it’s too bad Williams was fired, because he was 4 games away from being the defensive coordinator of 2 teams that went 0-16. He was the Browns DC in 2017.
