Every Pass & Run from Malik Willis’ NFL Debut – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Lucifer

Bro obviously lacks some experience holding on too long sometimes and using his legs on a lot of downs but man some plays it was just so exciting to watch him as a titans fan 💪🏻 guy is looking like a baller to me

    Lucifer

People in the comments here hating for me criticizing a bit even tho I pointed out that I am excited to watch him and that he’s a baller… Guys even coach and himself said that there were good things but also bad things which obviously need some time to develope into a better player

    thenewjord50

@Lucifer no one’s hating but you can’t expect a rookie QB or any rookies in general to learn who to be a pro in one day. Its preseason for a reason to learn and grow

    Lucifer

@thenewjord50 never said I expect it from him tho… Just pointed out the obvious which was kinda expectable and wanted to give my first real in-game impression of him ✌🏻

    Dallas Wood

He’s definitely waiting for those receivers to be “college ball open” to pull the trigger that rarely happens in the nfl

    Yardrat Hartz

Literally his first play he should have dumped it off quicker. I love that he got to a roll out quick. Gotta snap it. He had that problem in college actually. This guy broke down his film ALOT. Kinda doesn’t throw to open receivers in the flat on outside for some reason.

No Thanks Bro

so glad he got drafted by a team in a good situation.

    KDubb

right, thats a good point. Make him learn and want it more like Arron Rodgers

    Jugert Isufi

that line is a great situation 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    KDubb

@Jugert Isufi it’s preseason lil guy. stick to call of duty. not the streaming though.

    Tanner Edge

Show me where Tannehill is about to lose his job

    HoodSportsCenter

@KDubb they starting line is bad too wtf you mean lol

Fanatic Productions

THAT SIDEARM THROW!!

    Aaron Sondag

Only good play he really had.

    Cheesus Cheese

@Aaron Sondag his scrambles were good and a solid deep ball

    Chee Nou Lo

    His best play.

    JUICEMANJOHN

How do you have the time to hate on someone this much

    Michael Anthony

A 4 yard throw got u that excited? Lol

Chris

That was a amazing sidearm

Prudent Student

Showed flashes, but I can tell he needs time to develop. I’m happy he gets to sit this year and develop properly.

    Vic Donahue

He’s going to be like Lamar mark my words best qb of this class

    Vic Donahue

He needs an a damn o line lol I think he would’ve done a whole lot more

    DaNewWaveLee

I disagree with most of these comments. Malik was ready but the other players weren’t. Most of them receivers may never get a snap in a regular season game on offense.

    SNAKES

New Mike Vick a little Vince young in him

    Andrew Evans

people that thought he should be a first round pick look very foolish

D Brown

No denying his talent time will serve him well. I’m sure he will make team regret it in the long run.

Jesse

Talented, can’t wait to see what he can do when he develops a bit more

    ghost in the shell357

You can tell he’ll be a beast in the NFL for years to come. Just needs time to work on his throwing and patience in the pocket.

Q J

This performance, even in the preseason shows that this kid has the talent.

    Cam Lin

@Tsai McDaniel he try to run too much and escape the pocket. you think brady do that. this guy is one man show.

    Starkiller

@Cam Lin dude relax. I’m not a titans fans but his pocket ability and footwork can be improved. Don’t forget the many great QBs who weren’t ready first year and got better

    The Kid

Everybody in the nfl has talent lmao

    Lance37a

@Cam Lin his arm strength and mobility look better than average.

    Andrew Evans

shows he rightfully didn’t go in the forest

Coffers

exactly what you want to see. flashing some talent! We know he is raw and needs time.

Lee'Von Henderson

That line got em running for his life out there

    Herman Johnson

    Best comment. No protection

    Willie Griffey Jr

    Welcome to Titans football

    360Crispy y

    Looking like a young Russ

    Tom Bagwell

He was used to that at Liberty. Offensive line was the weakest unit. He’s used to making plays with his feet. I think that’s why his footwork looks off from an NFL perspective. He’s conditioned to have to always think about pulling it and running

    Dallas Wood

He was also holding the ball too long

FemboyHub

That td was like the td he did in college loved it

Uncle Rico

Not a Titans fan but you gotta love seeing Willis putting up some extra muscle weight in just one off-season. He looks so much bigger then he did coming out of college in just a few months IMO. That’s a good sign, he’s showing he’s dedicated and committed. If he can develop properly the Titans will have one heck of a play-action power run scheme. I’m more excited to watch Matt Corral tho, now I think he’s got some next level elite traits.

J Ricardo

Can’t wait to see him after a full year of development.

    Darnell Williams

J Ricado nope Lamar Jackson didn’t need a year Malik Willis gonna be great

    J Fame 500

@Darnell Williams well there 2 different people and won’t develop at the same rate you think? Malik isn’t as ready as you think he is, his competition in college wasn’t that good

    Brandon Savitski

Just wait until teams get more tape on him, start scheming, & throwing all sorts of exotic blitz packages at him. He’s playing with & against backups right now.

    J Fame 500

@Brandon Savitski people don’t understand that. They see him playing decent now but when he plays against real nfl players it’s gonna be straight excuses

    JUICEMANJOHN

I don’t think you understand how fast if a learner Willis is. Patrick Mahomes said with his own mouth he never knew or understood how to read defenses until his second year as a starter for the chiefs. And he was torching defenses off of talent alone. Wait until Willis learns how to read blitzes. He’ll dog walk the league.

jkang9905

Not mad at his athleticism. Now all he needs is time to develop. from these clips, I never got the sense that he was out of his depth or looked frantic like most other young qb’s at this stage. I’m hopeful for the Titan’s future at QB

Terrence Brantley

For a first preseason game he did great

admiral spiffy

Just needs time to develop. He has to realize that the NFL is a conservative league. Gotta study old film but remember ALL of these dudes are fast

MusicBiz Guy

Not gonna lie Malik is looking talented, raw but talented. That arm strength jumps off the screen.

Meckeal

This Guy got potential, His pocket awareness and decision making will get better, I think we are underrating this QB Class. I cannot wait too watch Sam Howell play saturday. These two guys got future’s. 🔥

    Breon Mitchell

How was he 3rd round pick make 0 sense Zac Wilson went #2pick Willis have better arm an faster hit sit in pocket he good runner he Top 10 pick automatically

    luke

    @Breon Mitchell casual

    Charles

@Breon Mitchell Because the draft is based on how good the player was in college. Zach Wilson was a beast and Malik was alright.

    Statutory Grape

He didn’t panic in the pocket tho. Some guys just crap themselves when theres a lil pressure. He also looks like he can bounce off guys.

Good News

Granted, it’s his first NFL outing and he seems to hold onto it a little too long at times, but that O-line didn’t really do him any favors.

    Dallas Wood

In the nfl the ball should be out quick also he was scrambling a lot instead of stepping up in the pocket I’ve heard the biggest adjustment in the nfl is what is considered an open receiver compared to college. In college you see them throwing to dudes without a defender within ten yards and that hardly happens on the nfl certainly not often enough to sustain drives down the field

reverse world

Looked pretty good, definitely some rookie jitters and some scrambles where he probably had time to make a throw. The arm is for real, and his legs are great. Can he put it all together is the question
