Love honestly had a solid night, no turnovers, good ball placement, and did his job of managing the game. It’s still obvious he’s not starting caliber yet but he’s slowly improving every game which is what we packers fans like to see.
He’s honestly, probably could start on 15 NFL teams.

@J D he’s still developing, no one’s expecting him to be a starting QB yet. Rodgers took until a year 3 regular season game vs the Cowboys where he came in for Favre after an injury to have any glimpse of hope that he could be a starting QB. Rodgers looked like a bust for all of his first 3 off-seasons to the point he was nearly traded at one point. Rodgers took time to develop and so is Love. Everyone had the same narrative when Favre’s career was coming to a close about the Packers future at QB. What’s good about the Packers situation is they have time to have a QB develop instead of throwing them into the fire year 1 like a lot of teams where most QBs end up being left for dead because they have no time to develop and are thrown right into the fire. Obviously it’s no guarantee he can be a starter but Jordan has a better opportunity at developing into a starting QB through this situation than anywhere else.

He’s solid. It’s always important to have what May be the best backup QB in the league. It’s valuable because you could flip him for a high 1st rounder later on or keep him
Sadly the best back up in the league now is jimmy G. Also I don’t think any team in their right mind would trade a first round for Love. Come on man lmao

Best backup in the league 😂😂😂 after what? One solid preseason showing. Now if he improves upon this and somehow Aaron Rodgers gets hurt and he balls out during that time then he can have that title. Till then stop this talk about being the best backup in the league

Love is great! Was at USU with him and he was incredible when he gets time in the pocket and even on the move

If this was every pass and run, why dont i see the incompletions? I want to see the good and the bad so I can make a fair judgement of his actual gameplay.
He played good tonight but the offense still struggled with drops that should have been easy catches but his accuracy did look better then the 1st game. However still another slightly frustrating outing for the WRs
Man, if you’re a 1st rounder (and a 4th) going into year 3 and it’s still clear you’re not ready to start in the NFL, then that really is a massive bust. All the time to prepare and learn and they traded up to get you and you still can only manage 50% completions, 113 yards, and one TD drive in 4 quarters.

You see how once he starts to get playtime he cleans up some of the pics I understand he didn’t throw for 400 yards and 5 tds but for someone who hasn’t started that many 49ers to this game there’s a lot of improvement
Wow, as someone who is not a Packers fan (Fly Eagles Fly) and has never seen Jordan Love play, he certainly looked a lot better than I had been led to believe.

It’s because last year as much as I believe in Love, he looked kinda awful. Happy feet like you wouldn’t believe, his accuracy was unbearable, and he got shaken up *super* badly by the crowds.
But here as you see, he’s poised, calm, and ready to go. Rodgers and Clements had to have done something big to help him.
He’s still got his issues, but the people outright mocking and dismissing him already, have no idea what they’re talking about. At least give him a shot I’d say.
