This is nothing new if you followed Redskins camp they been saying he’s looked very good at times but then he make mistakes they also said he’s not comfortable in the offense yet and he’s playing a little slow where he’s thinking a lot. People can’t panic just remember Peyton Manning had like 30 picks as a rookie. I have to wait until he gets the offense down real good so he can play freely then I will have a better evaluation of him.

That’s exactly some of his issues. Everyone says Gruden has a complex offense.. Case Keenum still learning it that’s why Colt may start. In camp they said Haskins will look like a 4 year veteran one drive then throw a pick the next. He’s been playing slow in this offense and he doesn’t have it down where he can play freely. He’s thinking a lot and they said his decisions aren’t fast but that’s ok those things will get fixed the longer he studies and gets experience. In camp he’s shown he can make big time throws he just needs more time in the system

@WXD2.0 idk if Haskins was bad, he had two bad throws on touch passes, which he will improve on with better footwork. Both INTs were thrown entirely with his arm and no legs. He had an overthrow on a hitch, but otherwise he showed flashes of very good arm talent

@CAPN CRUNCH U you dont have to have a great 40 time to have mobility in the pocket. Tom brady is about as fast as my 9th grade chemistry teacher but he has great mobility within the pocket

@stephen mayo If you’re saying within the pocket, then sure, but you mentioned “throwing on the run”, which is outside of the pocket, so I was only speaking on that. Not saying he won’t be able to throw on the run, heck Eli Manning can throw on the run, but he won’t be as good at it against a legit defense due to the fact that he’s slow as balls. I was just bringing attention to the fact that his mobility (outside of the pocket) probably won’t be as good as it seemed today.

2 Haskins put up 6 TDs against Michigan 3 against Michigan State and 3 against Penn State and then 3 against Washington and 4 against an uninjured TCU. Dude had no problems against good Defenses.
3 Jones was a late pick and got benched for looking worse than Barrett. JT just didn’t have the arm for the NFL he could make all the reads and run every play but 50 yards was about the limit of his arm. Haskins looked good running all of the plays and had Cardales arm.
