@Jy Has also, if he can play anywhere near the level he did in Carolina, he would complement Terry extremely well. Terry could be more of a true possession WR, which he is capable of, instead of the mostly deep threat he is now. Hard to get open underneath when you get double teamed so much. That’s why we see Terry catching these long passes between or behind defenders.

can u imagine? Would have been a 4 TD game and maybe scoring over 30 points…. that would have got even the biggest taylor haters thinking.

Yeah, I think Heinicke took too much of a circle around after the PA fake so he was kind of going backwards at the beginning and was off balance. By the time he’s ready to throw, Terry looks away for a second. Then Terry looks again and Heinicke throws it. Just some kind of bad timing there. Heinicke needed to not loop out so far and make it more of a cut off the PA fake. I think in the end it would result in maybe 2 more yards or something, the defense was already closing fast. But those are the little mistakes that need to get cleaned up.
We’ve got a handful of guys who are impossible to not root for, Terry being one of them. I hope he’s with us for another 10 years.

He was clearly a superstar from the moment he joined the league. My worry was that some front office moron would trade him away, or he’d get frustrated by the poor quality of the team assembled around him. If Heineke stays healthy, he should shine.
