    @d c Yards per game increased in each of his first three years up to 58 yards a game which is about 900 yards in 16 games (really good for TE). With bad QBing, I don’t think he was really that bad at all. Yes, he was often injuried, not dismissing that, but the talent has always been there honestly.

    @Po Chen Lai When the ball went in his direction, you hold your breath. Seasons of 11 drops, 6 drops. Not counting the tips that became interceptions. He was very hard to watch. I hope the jags make him a Jimmy Graham type.

    @Kenrick Ferguson Isn’t it weird how every WR that DJ has ever played with (college and NFL) has had the drops? If you throw the ball behind the WR or below his knees or way over his head, it makes it a more difficult catch to make and gives the defender a chance to make a play, but still counts as a “drop”. It’s also why, every year with DJ, the Giants are always at or near the bottom of the league in YAC (this season they’re 25th).
    What’s more likely… Evan engram, in his 6th year in the NFL, all of the sudden learned how to catch, or he now has a QB who can put the ball in a better spot for him to make the catch? Engram had his lowest career numbers while playing with DJ as his QB. Hmmm.
