You see, every four years the Jets fan get sucked into the euphoria of a new regime. well I ain’t getting sucked in this time. @Bruno Helvetika since 2010 the jets have earned a top 5 pick a grand total of 2 times thats once every 5 years. Thats not often. You cant blame playcalling on the gm that falls on coaching. Thats also why the so called scrubs were so awful adam gase and his pathetic staff mismanaged them
@VMan29397 6 picks in the top 10 including two number 3s and one number 2 this year. This was the year to trade the pick and build the team.
@Bruno Helvetika no it wasnt 2022 has a weak qb class. Not to mention the jets have 21 picks over the next 2 years Which is more than enough coupled with free agency to get this team going in the right direction. Add to your previous comment about how many top 10 picks the jets had you need a top 5 pick to get a quarterback Most of the time the best quarterback prospect generally go in to top 5.
@Bruno Helvetika lmao, robby anderson said the jets couldve paid him twice what the panthers offered, he just wasnt going to play for adam gase. Jamal Adams is a box safety who was asking to be paid 18 million dollars a year, and he got 2 1st and a 3rd. Hes only had one offseason during sam darnolds time, how can you say it was his fault the line sucked, it takes years of drafting and free agent periods to build it.
He also wasnt the one to hire Gase
@phuck off I only said the line sucked because another poster was using that as an example of what Douglas did for Darnold saying he rebuilt the line. We don’t now if Robbie Anderson would have come back because Douglas didn’t really give him an offer. Its easy to talk when you’re on another team. I didn’t hear him say that when he was free agent. The Jets got good return on Adams but I don’t think Douglas handled the situation well.

I’ve watched and scouted Zach since he was in high school until now a #2 pick in the NFL draft. There is 1 consistent to his game, he adapts to the next level right away and his game PLAYS. Go back his FR year WON the job to a SR popular winning QB in Tanner Mangum #12 back in 2017, Zachs FR yr. Then Starts in a Rivalry game against a Utah Defense with 8 Players on that team were drafted in that years draft.Marquise Blair(Seahawks), Chase Hanson(Saints), Julian Blackmon(Colts), Kylie Fitts(Bears) Cody Barton(Seahawks) Leki Fotu(Cardinals) to name a few. Watched this little freshman QB take apart this #1 defense in the country and BYU leads Utah 20-3 at halftime. Zach goes up and down the field scoring TD’s and making NFL throws the full 1st half. BYU lost the game because of injury’s to BYU on offense and big ones on Defensive, KAUFUSI, that lead to the BYU loss and a Utah offensive surge in the 2nd half. However the Freshman gunslinger had a game against the heralded Utah defense going 20-29, 204 YDS, 2 TD, 1 INT. Had a bad pick, HE IS 18.
