Jack K Cayre

Hi

Jack K Cayre

Your my favorite team

Argenis L

Stingley to the Giants

    Eric Garrison

I hope so I been saying he better than sauce !

    D12 Raging

No way. He’s not worth drafting at 7.

Frank08046

I’m really hoping on Thibodeaux dropping but feel he will be picked by the Lions at #2. As far as a trade nothing that drops us out of the top 10. Getting a pass rusher and getting a right tackle is a must this draft. Not necessarily at #5 and #7. Going back to back with defense could be a winner. Thibodeaux, Johnson with Gardner or Stingley would not make pause.

    Eric Garrison

Ya pass rush and coverage go hand to hand I’d be for Jermaine Johnson and sauce or stingley

David Lopez

I’m really hoping that Schoen does not draft Cross if Evan Neal or Ikem Ekwonu are available at 5. 🙏🙏🙏

    David Lopez

@stephen2015 Let me preface this by saying that Neal is my favorite Tackle in this draft, followed closely by Ekwonu. With that said, it is my opinion that Cross would not present good value if either Neal or Ekwonu are available at 5. I would prefer to trade back if both are gone and try to draft Cross or Penning to maximize the pick’s value.

    stephen2015

@David Lopez well I hear people say similar things about cross but the scouts don’t. I have no issue with Neal but Ikhem is a guard playing tackle. In pass protection cross just NEVER gets beat. Seriously I’d challenge anyone to watch the tape and find ONE rep where he gets beat. He is also the youngest by far. 1.5-2 years younger. Cross is at the top of a lot of teams boards. At the top of some as the best PLAYER in the draft. He is freaky talented. He is a rookie pro bowl talent. Neal is solid in both and Ikhem is dominant run blocking but just ok in pass protection and he lacks the length to really become elite.
If you want and need a tackle you take the best tackle available on your board. Thats cross.
You take him at 5 cause whoever else you target (CB or edge) if they are there at 5 they will be there at 7 BUT if Carolina doesn’t take a QB they will take a tackle.
You will see, Cross is SPECIAL.
Cross at 5 then Gardner or Johnson at 7 is a PERFECT first round.

    Raekwon Debnam

That’s a Dave gettleman pick if they do that

    stephen2015

@Raekwon Debnam that reply doesn’t even make sense.
Well get ready cause they ARE gonna get the best tackle from the draft. Ya know, just like Gettleman did.

    Raekwon Debnam

@stephen2015 the best OT is Neal or Ikem

Eric Garrison

Cross or stingley didn’t even get invite top 30 visit

Duke Lion

Hell take O line with both 5 and 7. Why not. Nothing they do on Defense matters if they can’t put up points.

    Jeffrey Abbey

What team in the NFL has 3 first rd o lineman?? 😳

    Ummm…. NONE

    Get real “fan”

    Duke Lion

@Jeffrey Abbey 😆 get real hahaha. Why not? The worst part of the team is the O line. If you have the opportunity to fix a problem why wouldn’t they? Not like they have been drafting well anyway the last few years. Just a thought. They can’t get much worse. Been a “fan” for 30+ years. Guess what….they are at their best when the line is great. Also they have 2 picks in the first round. Not three

Raiden Dog

For me Between the tackles, Gardner and KT I’m happy with any combo of the two. Jermaine Johnson at 7 isn’t bad either if everyone is gone by then. So for me ideally is Ikem at 5, Gardner at 7 and Mafe or Penn state kid of Ojabo at 36.

    Raekwon Debnam

    Tyler could fall to 36

Jeffrey Abbey

Giants have a new QB yet??

4years later

4years of misery

This draft doesn’t matter when Giants have no QB

Wake me up when this nightmare of a franchise is over

Worst Giants Football era EVER

Get rid of #8 already

    D12 Raging

This draft does matter. If we get two franchise players on both sides of the line we immediately make this team much better and quickest way if rebuilding this team.

Cringe Lemon

Two of the best draft guys in the biz, can’t wait to watch this!

stephen2015

I keep telling people here that they are taking cross. He just NEVER got beat. He is the youngest by 1.5-2 years. His pass blocking is RIDICULOUS.
Giants go Cross at 5 and Gardner or Johnson at 7.

    James McCracken

He was always spread wide and in a 2pt stance. His hips always opened up early. NFL is a different monster.

    stephen2015

@James McCracken lol. In that offense he was primarily in a 2 point, so? He has shown no issue coming out of a three point. None. His run blocking grade are better than than Neal or Ikhem (though in far fewer reps) and you won’t find a scout that doesn’t tell you he is the best pass blocker in the draft. He does NOT open his hips early if too much. That’s a fake narrative from people that don’t understand how athletic he is. They aren’t used to seeing a tackle be as quick with his feet and fluid as him. He played in the sec and and shut everyone down. If he was over setting or opening up to soon don’t ya think the sec would make him pay? They didn’t cause no one did.please try and find him getting beat last season. Just try and find ONE REP of him getting beat. I’ll wait… Nah I won’t cause there aren’t any.
He is the best tackle in the draft. I’m fine with Neal if cross is gone. I’d want Ikhem if I was drafting a guard. Giants need a tackle and if he is available they will get the best tackle in the draft. He will be a pro bowl rookie. By his second year people will say the Giants have the best tackle tandem in football if they get cross. He is SPECIAL.
Watch the film. The teams that have him as the best PLAYER in the draft may be right.
He is also a LOT better fit than the other two for what Daboll wants to do. Especially Ikhem as a tackle.

    James McCracken

@stephen2015 so.?? Maybe you don’t understand or comprehend. In a 2 Pont stance you are already set wide, without a hand in the dirt. The defender is not on top of you. So if your getting your hips open early in a 2 point stance what will happen when someone is directly on top of you??? You need to go understand oline concepts before you have this discussion if you don’t understand.

stephen2015

Dude, saints don’t have a 1 next year. They traded it for these picks. I don’t know how people that do this for a living can get this wrong.

stephen2015

The problem with the corner group in the second is most are zone corners. The difference between a zone corner and man corner is so dramatic it’s like 2 different positions. Elamis fine and a few of the 3rd or 4th round projects are fine but you can’t get a zone corner and expect them to play in winks system.

JC Silva

ESPN is so 1990s. Stop talking to them.

ken Fly

No cross

Adalberto Santiago

No we don’t want an average player we want the best player. Go away ESPN you guys are always wrong.

Brian Curry

Expect nothing but a great interview by you John. Ask questions that matter. Do they actually desire cross or is it just a smokescreen. Only Schoen knows???

gman hirt

Take both tackles move one to guard
Draft another guard in the 2nd round
And this way the offensive line will be set for the next quarterback
To start next year
