He’s Elway-lite. What has happened with the Vikings since he’s been there is basically the same that has happened with Broncos, but not as good.
Fontenot should have been the obvious choice. New Orleans is always sniffing around the playoffs. They even went to the playoffs after Katrina and playing their home games abroad. Ill take the guy thats faced adversity 10x before I take someone who hasn’t proven anything.

Absolutely not! Von is old old old and has at most 2 seasons left in his career.
Oh and that’s not prime 2 years of miller. It’s a old, slow and will probably get hurt again. It’s over.

@Shake you’re counting rings. how about QBs drafted, signed or developed? That’s been the only issue Broncos has had and they hire a guy who’s been even worse at evaluating QBs
For all of you being negative, here are some thoughts. You ever think that he might of needed to leave an organization that has never won a superbowl and go to an organization who has won some and has been around quite a few of them to get himself over the hump of not winning any rings? No one else has drafted more probowl guys than him in the league… Sometimes I think you fans complain just to have something to complain about. You complained about Elway now he’s finally giving it to someone else and you complain about that. A lot of teams have wanted this guy for years and he has declined them.
How many QBs has he drafted? Are we going to ignore the Kirk Cousins signing, the Ngakoue trade? The complaint is Elway hiring a lesser version of himself. Who did this guy hire as OC, the same guy Elway did.
@Hengel Andrews If Drew Lock had a season like Cousins just had would you be complaining right now? I’ll answer for you. No. Kirk Cousins is not the reasons the Vikings had a crappy season. Their D was really bad. Ours isn’t. so I’m going to halt you right there. He also got rid of Keenum to us lol and got rid of Shurmer. This guy can spot talent in the draft in any round. We don’t need much to contend trust me.

@William Catalano Kirk Cousins is a career .500 QB who’s contract paid him $40,000,000 this season. Drew Locke is basically a rookie after his injury last year and all the craziness this year + he’s on a rookie Salary. You said it the Vikings Defense is bad and their offense wasn’t that good either. Kirk Cousins lead the league in INTs for starting QBs, yet had the second best rush in his back field. Keenum and Cousins have the same amount of playoff wins so it’s a wash. The Vikings haven’t don’t anything that another organization especially the Broncos would be jealous of. I’d take a Patriots guy, a Saints guy, a Steelers guy, a Ravens guy or a TV guy.
As long as he doesn’t go QB crazy this year, the holes are on the defense this year, Locke needs one more year to boom or bust, and the rookies need the 2021 season to prove they are zeroes.Hope he treats the heroes, Patrick for example, right in 201.
