Inevitably when Andy Reid retires, I hope EB takes the reins. What a turn around this season for the offense!
I thought that was the plan. Until Andy signed that six year extension, I held belief EB had the job whenever Andy retires. I figured EB getting a head coaching job would complicate that, although it’s still early….
Andy Reid doesn’t call All the shots as people my think? Eric is the Chiefs Offensive Coordinator and he does play calling! That’s probably the reason football Owners won’t select him to coach their teams in the misconception that Andy Reid calls all the shots! If that’s the belief, then Eric shouldn’t be in Kansas City.
@Brian Walls Oh now I know and that’s what drives me nuts. He is doing the play calling and I think Andy through his own successes sucks the oxygen out of the room when it comes to who gets the credit. But hey, we are winning so I don’t really care who gets the credit for the play calling.

Andy Reid might not retire for ten years, but Eric Bienemy seems ready now- in addition to his experience he is very tactful in his communication, so you would think he would get a chance.
He would be the 2nd black coach for the chiefs.
Teams won’t give E.B a chance. It makes me sad inside. But that’s the others teams mistake. A BIG MISTAKE ON THIER PART. CHIEFS KINGDOM LOVES U. GO CHIEFS

It’s obviously a multi-million dollar situation for the guy and everyone, myself included, thinks he should have a head coaching job, but there has to be a piece of him saying ‘why would I leave this dynasty in the making?’ I would never fault him for taking a HC job next year but selfishly would love to see him stay. The guy is obviously a football genius, and going to a losing team (the ones hiring head coaches) he’s not going to have the talent to execute the creative plays he draws up like he does in KC.

Ok. I’m a Bengals fan. My dad coached the Bengals from 1980-1995. he is a consultant now. So. I watched EB when he was at Colorado State. I was a huge fan. He was small with a huge heart. This guy has so much class and charisma. The smile! What an awesome guy and coach. Mad respect. You deserve to be a head coach. I’m going all In with WHO DEY Sunday but you have a gem with this coach.

No way I believe that this man can not do a good interview or any of the other excuses why he isn’t a HC.
