Watching him get absolutely run-over by a TE blocking on a big run was embarrassing to watch.
It’s football that happens occasionally, Duhh? He still had 7 sacks and made a lot of plays where he pancakes the tight ends.But you dont see those plays.

Dude had 7 sacks coming off of an Achilles injury and he’s a bust? I think he had a tendency to disappear in games but calling him a bust is overboard. This defense needed help and it never came. Blame the offense
@John Crane the reality is an Achilles tear is the kiss of death for many football players. 7 sacks is solid but for what he’s getting paid it’s probably best to move on. Especially with jermaine going into year 2 and huff continuing to improve

He is a solid player ,He was a part of a solid defense ,had 7 sacks,A disappointing end.Kinda disappeared at the end of the season. But when your Offense can’t produce ? It wears you out.By no way he’s a bust or overpaid.He helped make this defense a top 10 defense that got respect around the league from they’re peers.So going forward. He’s a keeper.
I personally wanted hendrickson from new orleans that year (he ended up signing with bengals & became a difference maker i believe he had 17 sacks first year with bengals)…carl seems like a likeable guy but this is a business..time to move on in offseason & give the younger guys some time (& also pick somebody up in draft)…need linebackers also(that can defend against the pass)was hoping joe douglas snatched lb from georgia in this pst draft in the 3rd round, he skipped on him & philly got him…safety position also needs to be updated
