You are joking, right? It is not that Hinton and Cleveland are not getting the job done. The entire offense is not purring yet. Remember that Hinton had probably the most important catch in the game Sunday night. A scramble -play for 27 yards on 3rd and 10. Without that play, they do not score a TD and probably lose the game. Cleveland is primarily a special-teams core player. The only WRs who are not really producing yet are Jeudy (he and Russ are just a smidge off thus far) and Hamler (still on the comeback trail). I do not see where Odell would be of any help. At this point, Sutton might be a better player. He does have the 5th most yards in the league for WRs. What help would it be for Russ to add a new player he has never played with and would require time to get on the same page with? Odell will probably not play until late in December, if at all this season. That would not give him enough time to understand the playbook. Besides, the offense moved the ball the first two weeks; they just did not score and that was because of the running play fumbles. The last game was against the best NFL defense not in Denver. QED, I must reject your suggestions.

He should be a head coach eventually, but we do not want him to leave, this defense is cooking. Now, if Russ continues to cook as he did during the TD drive to win the game (kind of the way Elway used to get it done) against SF, the Broncos could be firing on all three cylinders. The song says, ‘time for me to fly’ and maybe it is time for this team to fly. Anything is possible but some things are probable, such as Denver winning by more than one point. I think it is time for this team to assert some dominance over this division, starting with the Raiders. It is a good thing to have only one chef in the kitchen when that chef is DangeRussWilson. Not likely, the league is moving in the direction of hiring offensive minded head coaches. Last year 7 of the final 8 teams in the playoffs were all offensive minded.
