Manuel heads into the bye on a high note after putting together his best game of the year in Week 11’s win over the Jets. He completed 20 of 28 passes for 245 yards and two touchdowns, and heads into the bye having played seven games, recording a 58.5 percent completion rate while averaging 198 yards per game and tossing eight touchdowns and four interceptions.
Manuel’s proven to be a fairly competent quarterback in his limited exposure, if not necessarily a fantasy-friendly one at this point in his career. Though his matchups are a bit of a mixed bag, Manuel’s got a couple nice stat-padding opportunities coming up in the final weeks of the season, as he faces Atlanta after the bye and Jacksonville two weeks after that. Tampa, Miami and New England should present greater challenges.
