Vikings could Blitz the hell out of Hurtz just like the Dolphins did to Lamar Jackson a year ago and destroyed there Offense…

    Casey James

@Rob E Man you’re way to optimistic on these players with very little evidence they can produce at a high level with Consistency in the NFL the Vikings could pick up any amateur player and you would probably polish that turd with you’re Football Statistics only to set fan’s up for failure again…The only Names on that list that fit this high volume of Athleticism and Consistency is Za’darius, Hunter & Jordan Hicks who we’re the main focal points in last week’s game…Rogers had “NO” weapons other than Dillon & Jones that’s why they leaned heavily on the Run game when they we’re down badly against the Vikings. The Secondaries we’re dealing with Amateurs, Watson roasted Peterson and still dropped the ball😂😂

    Rob E

@Casey James Casey, I do admire your ability to miss the point, and in this case to of them.
Firstly, the continual obsession with last years team, and complete failure to understand that this is a completely new team, with completely new coaches, scheme and 22 new players on the 53 man roster. So, any references to last years team are at least 50% wrong. This is a different team.
Secondly, to understand how this team is different you have to compare who we have now, to who we had then. The comparisons are – Hunter vs Richardson, Zadarius vs Wonnum, Wonnum vs Willekes, Phillips vs Watts, Blacklock vs Lynch, Hicks vs Vigil, Dantzler vs Vigil, Sullivan vs Alexander, Cine vs Woods, Asamoah vs Blake Lynch, Booth vs Boyd etc.
Fortunately the bandwagon eventually picks up even the slowest naysayers.

    Casey James

@Rob E My last comment wasn’t focusing on last season, It was referencing last week😆 They’ve Added some additions to last year’s Defense that was atrocious and you’re behaving like there some spectacle to be admired🤪 Maybe Hicks & Za’darius but the other player’s haven’t proven they can compete consistently against the best in the league and some are unproven inexperienced player’s. Same goes for the Coach and GM, It’s crazy to be so naive with a team like the Vikings only because they have some new toy’s to play with🤦‍♂️
But it’s one game and I’m not writing them off yet, let’s see what they can do and hopefully “THIS TIME” after year’s and year’s of disappointment I’m actually wrong about them lol

@Bruce Terrell In the never works in the nfl option offense you trust. Good luck with that.

    Rob E

@Casey James My argument is simple – the Vikes were very close last year, in every game. I think they had enough elite talent, but they were held back by 4 or 5 weak links – RG, DT, Edge, LB, CB, some passive coaching, predictable playcalling, and now we know a dysfunctional FO.

I like how Kwesi immediately focused on upgrading our terrible players – Breeland, Alexander, Vigil, Udoh, and the guys that were unreliable – Pierce and Barr.
And he did it by deliberately adding experienced proven vets, and then drafting young talent to develop and take over when ready.

I think you’re undervaluing Phillips who started on the strong Bills D Line, Reed who started on the strong Colts O Line, Sullivan who started for 3 years at the Packers.
All 5 guys – Z, Phillips, Hicks, Sullivan and Reed are massive upgrades over Griffen & Sheldon Richardson, Pierce & Watts, Vigil & Barr, Alexander, and because of Ingram’s development, we now have Reed as a back up, who is better than last seasons starter.

Yes, it is only one game, in an unfamiliar scheme, for 15 players that have never played together, so by rights, the Packers should have beaten them easily – but the opposite happened, so yes, that is optimistic. But if the team is already able to dominate the Packers, in their first game together, they should naturally improve from that. Absolutely, we should be optimistic.

If we beat the Eagles comfortably this week as I’m expecting then I’d even expect naysayers like yourself to start believing.

Skol Vikings 💯

Hope they keep it going.

Rain RB

This is going to be a good test for this defense, can they Keep hurts in the pocket and stop the run… something they haven’t been good at the last 2 seasons. I hope Coach Donatell has a good game plan.

    Rob E

Packers hardly got a yard when the Vikes starters were out there. If Z & Hunter can stop them once or twice before the rotation comes in, we might be playing with a lead, which could change things a bit for Hurts.
Having Cine in the mix could change things too.

NiceOneZebra

Should I play Carr or Hurts this week?I’m afraid to play Hurts this week. Carr stinks but they play Arizona.

    Pᴀᴡɴ S𝜏ᴀʀ𝕤 ✯🇫ᴀɴ

I’d play Carr… Adams is desperate to prove himself and is better than AB

    NiceOneZebra

    @Pᴀᴡɴ S𝜏ᴀʀ𝕤 ✯🇫ᴀɴ

Yeah. I’m taking my chance with Carr. Thanks.

    Chuefing Yang

    Carson Wentz !

    Rob E

Carr. I don’t think the Cards have a very good roster. Their pass rush looks very average, so Carr’s O Line could hold up, and the Raiders pass rush could dominate the Cards O Line, and we know what Kyler looks like when things aren’t going well.
Plus, I think the Vikes could shut Hurts down this weekend. Hurts has a lot of bad film against good teams.

    Purple Punch 420

@Riley Sullivan if they can get Hurts rolling to his left consistently the Vikings will win the dude is just a RB that can kinda throw lol

Steven Cheng

Rush 3 spy and be patient set the edge

Rash ME

can’t defend hurts!? Lmao..Vikings are concerned about Jalen hurts taking off with his feet.

Jeff Kitterman

Sure do like this guy

Everlasting Life

Can’t wait to see what Ed has planned.

Amber Garcia

Kendrick is going to have his hands full Monday night . However he’ll become a target running for his life. Joe Theismann style . Oops . 😏

Cole Trickle

Defending the option in the nfl isn’t that hard. The option never works in the nfl, there’s no reason to think it will this time.
