Ninja-Flus is gunna take this team and turn it into something special. This was a full on ACTUAL rebuild where we gutted just about every position in a single season, and started over with UDFAs, and 3rd and 4th stringers at most positions. However, he’s STILL got these guys playing HARD with noticeable improvement as the year went on. outsiders might look at our record and think we suck; which we do, but for much more nuanced reasons than they might think.
This guy just seems like a genuinely good coach to me, and I think he may just be our head coach for the long term.
The Bears need to replace Poles as GM before the season ends.
In one year, he depleted the wide receivers & linebackers, lost to free agency & trades.
If the Bears have any talent that are free agents at the end of this season, doubtful Poles will resign any of them, and the Bears will suck worse next year.
There is some really good metal on this team. Now that’s it’s all been in the fire you can figure out if it will hold it’s shape when the season ends and you can get the quench. Will they harden and take an edge, or crack and warp? Time will tell, I feel good about it personally.

I really hope that they grab a top 5 WR in the off season or in the draft get the best WR. The ladder is probably their best bet. It’s obvious they just don’t have that guy that can grab the ball one on one over defenders. You know…the guy that makes secondaries back up.
