Born in the 1970’s I was a kid when the Dolphins lost the Super Bowl to the 49ers in the 80’s. I saw one real running back for this team Ricky Williams. Isn’t it amazing that a average line looks a lot better with an above average running back🗝️🗝️🗝️🗝️🗝️🗝️

Yea, i grew up in Miami Gardens in that era and remember that game and the fins loss to the Redskins as well. I can’t help but wonder how good those Dolphins teams would have been had Marino had a running game to compliment his lethal aerial assault. Later, Ricky Williams and then Ronnie Brown and the wildcat offense were amazing to witness and gave Miami a backfield unlike any other since the Csonka, Kiick and Morris days. But, time rolls on, and today it was all Duuuuuke Johnson! 🐬

It was refreshing to watch a RB like DUKE. Hope he works his way to our #1 because he broke tackles left and right, after watching DJ I would cringe watching Gaskin back in. I like DJ as #1 and Ahmed at #2
Agree totally. I like Gaskins on screen plays, but whenever runs its up the middle he normally gets 3 yards, although he did bust a 32 yard run today.
Gaskin is a good receiving option while also being very versatile. The problem is he can’t break any tackles his yards after contact are really low. He isn’t that kind of back so if the offensive line isn’t at least decent he can’t run. Considering how bad our offensive line is there isn’t much he can do.
Finally you home Duke and we can start a new era of Duke Johnson! Bro you put on for Miami Norland Senior High, and UM. Thank god the Dolphins seen your greatness

Grier, extend Duke now. He’s on another level compared to Gaskin, Ahmed and everyone on our roster. The combination of speed, power, vision and desire was… awe inspiring. He can be our long term (5 year) starter. Never realized Duke is NFL prototypical, tailback size at 5’9, 210. Impressive day, Duke my man. Very impressive🙋
