Rypien has the full package. Brett has already been ready, he just needs the chance.
Rypien sees the field and your wrong, he does have a big arm and moves well in and out of the pocket. He does do his check downs well.
Brett has the ability to pull the rabbit out of the hat.
Just giving Brett the last 11 minutes of the 4th, and behind at that, is pressure. He did have the INT in the end zone but that was as much a part of the receiver not playing the ball or not running the route correctly.
The biggest improvement would be in the OC position. I do not have any faith in Shurmur as everyone else seems to.
I’m starting to question Fangio’s defense as well. Denver seems to have lost that defensive strike capabilities in breaking up passes or just intercepting the passes.
The Broncos must learn to hold teams to 3 and out when needed.
Driskel is slow in the pocket, unable to escape the rush. He does not adapt to the speed of the game well. He’s a deer caught in the headlights.
With a stronger line and another 2 seconds, Driskel might make his progressions but from what I saw, he was having a hard time just focussing on his primary receiver and had no awareness of his place in the pocket.
Rypien, given the chance, will beat the Jets with authority. I feel strongly about that.
As far as Lock, I think he will prove to be that player who is always hurt. So having Rypien start and play full games should prove to be fruitful and Lock, in my opinion, is still trying to prove himself.
That battle between Rypien and Lock was bound to happen.
Bortles was a waste of money. Bortles was a reaction unwarranted. Rypien is there, ready to go. Play him. If he were to get hurt, then hire a filler QB. Rypien proved himself at Bosie State. Let him prove himself in Denver.
And I must say your wrong. Rypien has no problem with the feet, his arm strength, the play book or reading and adjusting to the defense.
Do you run the Brett Rypien fan page on twitter? In all seriousness tho I did like the way he looked but you have to admit TB was playing prevent D and they were kinda slacking when they knew they would win. Made it easy for Rypien to make quick reads. I do want to see him succeed against the jets and I hope he brings the awareness like he did against TB.
I’m sorry but its a reason Rypien was a backup to Brandon Allen, waived to practice squad, and resigned due to the shortage of qbs… He’s not good! That last drive, Tampa wasn’t even trying and still got an interception. Sorry to rain on your Rypein party but he has no chance to succeed in Denver. Yes I do think we will beat the Jets, but only because both teams are that bad and it can go either way.

They’re both terrible. Tampa is in prevent and shell defense in 4th quarter. This team asa whole is poorly constructed.

Sad. I can’t even say tank for trevor. Cause knowing the Broncos they’ll screw that up too…they will win just enough games to come in 4th or 5th pick and miss Lawrence or Fields altogether. I like Drew, but hes not in the same class as trevor or Fields. Anyone else in the draft isn’t worth tanking a whole season. So we’ll end up missing the playoffs AND the top 5 picks next year. Right on par Broncos.

No. Getting another quarterback is not the answer. What’s the point getting Trevor, if the o-line can’t protect him. We need a right tackle more than another quarterback.
