Hope he retires as a bronco
Hey NFL “gurus,” I was telling you guys before last year’s draft that Drew was the best QB in the draft. Well, you ignored me — I’m used to that — but he showed real promise last year. I think it was his first NFL TD throw where your eyes should’ve bugged out. The DB had tight coverage and Drew dropped it on a dime, where the receiver had to lay out and the DB was grasping at straws. But without revisiting his stats I think Drew was close to a 2:1 TD-2-INT ratio, outstanding for a rookie. Most guys are lucky to hit one. Baker Mayfield, who was supposed to go to the Super Bowl — cough. . . — was around 1 in his second season. So much for Faker Mayfield. The Broncos are on their way. Heck, Drew’s even great at pressers too. Told you so. Oh, I forget, did I say, “Told you so!” yet?
