Trying to win then stop throwing interceptions and make good plays and throw more and stop running because we keep losing yards now let’s try to win all these games.
Not all of that’s on him. His focus shouldn’t be winning. It should be playing good. The run game works for us. Its not that Lindsay’s bad. It’s there trying to make him run where he cant run.
Interceptions are his fault but this play calling ls all schrumer
@Zordax lindsay is not a good reciever or blocker. Theres a reason gordon is here. Theres a reason freeman caught 50 balls last year. In truth we haven’t passed enough to our rbs this year. That is on shumur. We also haven’t used lindsay more on outside runs. But the truth is … theres a reason shumur wanted gordon. He fits him smash mouth down field style better.

Preach! There is a time for aggressive throws and a time for playing it smart checking it down and picking up 4-5 yards at a time. With our athletic wrs too a quick 4 yard slant can easily turn into a 15 yard play
Gonna be tough to play winning football with shurmur.
I’d like to blame OC heavy too but many plays this year there are open wrs and Lock simply misses them. A correctable mistake in time but cant blame the OC when you draw WRs open. Now failing to utilize easier plays that is a problem.
@Jaycen Harris blame the OC for running melvin up the middle every first, not using locks legs, almost no screens, and these are all rookies or 2nd years so play more college like until they learn shurmurs shitty outdated early 2000s offense
@Don Quixote No argument there. Don’t get me wrong Shumur can draw up vastly better and more effective plays. My thing is I refuse to give Lock a pass simply because play calling isn’t great. Reason being even in our bad play calling Shumur has plays where WRs become open and Lock tries playing hero ball and takes deeper shots to wrs that are in tighter coverage. Sometimes it works but often it doesn’t. Lock needs to go through his reads faster to make smarter throws. Both are the main culprits to blame for our terrible offense

@Mr. Productions i have to agree he’s making the same mistakes over and over i mean damn we almost at end of the Season and we still don’t know he’s the man teams blitz Lock, Lock scrambles around sometimes hit the open man most of the time he don’t or he will throw off his back foot when pressure is in his face, or he will force a ball into coverage or don’t read a defense correctly we know the drill same ol thing every week

@James 007 well if he cant do it we move on. We talk about 5 yrs of sucking but dudes only been here for 2 yrs and played 14 games. He hasnt even had an offseason with starter reps. And none with a new oc. They need to stick it out another year. This was an odd year. We will know by half way through next season at which time if its not it. Both the qb and coaching staff will get the boot. There are a long list of qbs that include Josh allen and Mayfield who took time to look good. And Mayfield is still hit or miss but the run game has em rolling. U are not gonna find mahommes. Its really hard. What we need to find is a winning formula. If stafford or dak are available next year for a good price I’d be down. But thinking we will draft the next mahommes when most picks are misses is not the way. We have done it and failed so many times.

This boy good enough to be a backup QB for us but definitely not our starting QB we need to bring in a VET QB to help teach him and make him improve overall for like 2 years then he will be ready to be our franchise QB in the future for years to come! Fr

What? You want to go back to the QB WINDMILL again? Going through vet after vet. The plan was to get young talent and develop.
Well, this is what that looks like.
Extraordinary mixed with diabolical. After 13 or so games Drew is still learning. Whether it’s studying D or O or even his own recievers tells. Eventually this Offense is going to look natural with continuity and reps. Then they’re going to graduate to good.
If these boys finish the season strong and get a full offseason with each other. All those reps and that comfortability.
Plus u get Sutton back. 2021 I think Lock and this offense can do some special things. Kind of like everyone one thought this year was going to be special.
How many years are u willing to wait for excellent offensive play.
I think you’ll see it in 2021 or 2022 with Lock. Hes just got to much talent . Eventually its going to click. Hopefully he hasn’t gotten booed out of town by the time it does
