@Bernard Evans I didn’t. I thought Shurmur was an upgrade over Scangarello. Gonna admit I was wrong on that one. Shurmur seems to baby Lock and not let him gun sling nor let him get into a rhythm early.

One of the things that stands out to me about Lock is that he is a GAMER. There are alot of bad tendencies he has to work on, but you cant teach resilience.

I keep telling people that oline needs improvement but I got slack from my fellow Bronco fans
@AndyS303 whoever is givign you flack and not acknowledging that the Broncos OLine is playing terrible right now, needs to get their head checked. Drew can limit his mistakes too, but this is almost all on the OL not being able to give him hardly any time.
@TheAlpha Heel7 It comes down to blocking schemes and talent and right now, only Risner and Bolles are playing good. Cushenberry is gonna be good but he’s still learning a tough position. The other issue I keep harping on is that Drew is throwing it way too much. He’s routinely 40 or more throws a game. That’s not good. They should be smash mouth run heavy and limit Drew to no more than 30 throws a game. They are gonna waste a good talent.
@AndyS303 the problem today is that Atlanta obviously focused on stopping the run to force Lock to beat them. Until lock shows he can be consistent, that’s going to be the gameplan of teams moving forward.

don’t underestimate Denver, we have one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Same division as the Chiefs, we won’t be seeing the playoffs for years
Considering that a majority of our team is injured we aren’t that bad. I am extremely hopeful for next season.

@Joshua Osborne I know but we couldn’t predict injuries to Sutton. He was such a huge loss considering he was the only veteran offensive receiver we have and also a top 10 NFL WR.
They just gotta find a way to get the offense going in the first half. These highlights mean nothing until they can put a full game together. It’s gotta be a team effort though
yeah I noticed between the plays shown the Falcons steadily putting points on the board while we scored few until late
@Greg McCauley ya Harris was getting toasted at cb most of the first half. Once they took him out things got better but the damage had already been done and it was just too big of a hole for the offense to dig themselves out of…they should have both bouye and Callahan back for the secondary next week though which is huge.
Well the defense giving up 34 points as well doesn’t help.
@samcz1784 no but going into a game against Atlanta u know you’re gonna have to score a lot of points. Then factor in being without your top 2 corners. Tbh I was very impressed with the defense in the second half. Taking Harris out really made a difference. So ya the defense could have helped more but if we were going to win this game it was going to have to be from a shootout.

Ima Denver fan and he didn’t play real good in the first half. He did in the second half. I just wished they called timeouts with seconds left.
I’m not a fan of Shurmur. I’m not saying he needs to be fired right now and he as well can get better working with Lock, but I think Shurmur’s play calling is trash!
He just needs to play like he does in the 2nd half ALL GAME then we can win games

@Everday Allday and then the very next highlight he runs over the defender for the touchdown.. he will be good just gotta be patient been a bad year for Denver all season so far with the injuries and lack of coaching
