@Coty Benoit so you saying if you lived in a state where they use no knock warrants and you owned a legal gun you would put your gun down without knowing if its cops or real cop since we know they where not in uniform that’s like saying me in two other guys come knocking at your door in say police you gonna put your gun down and believe me I’ve watched cops execute warrants in real life they say police department we have a warrant for the person that’s name on the warrant but if anyone that’s saying any criminal can come to your home in knock and say police you gonna put your gun down if so I hope it never happens to you or anyone else in America cause you can be robbed and killed if you believe anyone that knocks in just says police

Brody Dawson he shot at the cops because they broke into his house and didn’t identify themselves as police. They were breaking and entering his house he had a right to protect. 2nd amendment rights!!!!!

@brokenankles33 this is where the stories split. In his testimony he stated that he did yell out “who’s there” and heard no response. The police stated that they in fact did call out “Police” and also did not hear the boyfriend’s response. The boyfriend says he shot the ground as a warning shot (btw, if you are going to shoot, shoot to kill) but the shot hit an officer’s leg at which point the police returned fire. It’s at this point that Taylor was shot in the cross fire. She was not asleep but standing behind her boyfriend at the time he fires at the cops.
Side note: the police had a no-knock warrant but chose to knock several times before entering. You may not like the outcome but if you want real change, how about changing the no knock warrant procedure and not going after officers that followed the law as written?
