See ?? If you’ve read anything I’ve ever written in the comments, live streams you know I wanted Linderbaum. I am a Hawkeye fan, since my FR Yr of H.S. in 76. So I knew what he could do from carrying a young, inexperienced line to the B1G 🏆 but when I began hearing about this other Tyler, and looking at his 🎥 I couldn’t in good faith be against him. Even if from a smaller Div than the B1G !! I couldn’t believe all the 😭 and 😤😡 when we still have 8 picks left, and all of the picks those other’s wanted gone. They were still saying 💩 about Our Boy’s and “worse” !! Letting EGurls come in and do the same. I was fighting with both our supposed to be Fam, and the EGurls (even little Giant’s too) and now I have a headache. This kid deserves a chance to be a Cowboy, and to do so happily. Until there’s a season better than: They shoulda traded up 🙄 Not only wasting draft capital, but still not getting the one these other’s wanted. Simply bcos of all the WR took in Rd 1 #DC4L ✭

How is it a reach when mel Mel Kiper had him pick by the cowboys at 24

@will carter Mel Kiper said Russel Wilson would be a backup. Richard Sherman would be an average fifth round pick. That Mike Williams from USC would be a Hall of Famer. The list goes on and on with how horrible Mel Kiper is. Way to use him as an argument hahahah.

Thank you for being of the same mind as me, and tho I never saw him play, since his name began popping up on Mon I’ve been watching some. So altho I wanted Linderbaum (I’m a Hawkeye fan, and watched every Sat) I couldn’t be angry when they took him. I also believe all the nasty things people were saying in the live streams (the one’s I was arguing with) will 1 day be talking about how they never saw what a beast he’d become 😬🙄
I remember a few of their name’s, and how he’s the worst pick in Cowboys history‼️I’ll be right there to say: STFU You said he was the worst pick in Cowboys history 😤😡 Now you’re on his bandwagon. Don’t work like that. When they said that I said: Really ?? Mo Claiborne, Taco ?? Felix Jones ? And you’re gonna lable him that without taking a snap ? being a beast at holding i played guard in high school this kid holds to much when he gets beat I hope im wrong but as of now this could be a bust but again i hope im wrong

I was gonna say same thing great attitude and they can coach him to get rid of penalties he way more skilled then Connor Williams ever was and he can learn from Zach Martin and Tyron smith

Agree. Very much of a solid leadership quality to him. He’s borderline cocky but shows humility and gratitude to his coaches.

Another positive fan, and I had been starting to believe I was alone. Everyone’s a pro in saying he’s the worst pick in Cowboys history 🙄 Without even seeing him take a snap !! I kinda wanted Linderbaum, and had made that sure to any of the hosts on the streams I moderate. I asked these armchair fool’s: He’s worse than Taco, Mo Claiborne, Felix Jones to name 3 and you know this before he’s even been issued a number, and with 8 picks remaining ?? I was soo pissed bcos not only were they saying this 💩💩 but letting the EGurls come in, and talk their trash as well. So I argued with them all, until I began getting a headache. @Alphonse Mephesto You see, that’s what I believe as well !! I was absolutely stunned, and horrified at everything I was reading in the streams last night. Not just 1 either, and was just almost praying that this kid wasn’t reading any of it. Bcos I know that would leave a bad taste in his mouth, and he doesn’t deserve that. Not from our fan’s. Those are the reactions of an EGurls fanbase, and I sure didn’t like seeing if. I believe Foots said it was worse on Twitter. If so, then I’m ashamed 😔 We’re better than that, or mostly had been 💯✭

News Flash: Will McClay is not the KING on draft day. The Cowboys, like MOST teams, take a consensus approach when deciding who gets taken. Will McClay, and his team of scouts, BUILD THE BOARD. He does NOT have final say. The HC is heavily involved. The OC and DC have a lot of input. And of course, Steven and Jerry have to sign-off. The people that spend all their time complaining and trying to finger someone to blame are really kind of pathetic.

@Peter Hunt I mean, that IS all true & yet in what world would a guy like the one they picked be more highly ranked on their draft board? Especially with some of the guys still available like Linderbaum (who went with the very next pick).

But difference is Travis year the Board was washed not this year. Kid has a Lot of upside he youngest player in draft crazy strong. But he strictly guard. I still take Devin Loyd then O line 56 and 88

Leary was so underappreciated especially in the running game.. ppl forget that he got casted off when we got lael Collins. They just saw his potential in 2015, his rookie season and pushed Leary to the bench in 2016.. but collins got hurt for the year early in the 2016 season and they reinstated leary at the LG spot and our running game took off. But prior to that ppl were starting to talk that zeke was overrated and we shouldnt have drafted him because we just weren’t really running the ball all that well.. and folks also forget that leary was apart of that amazing 2014 team that ran the ball down ppls throats with DeMarco Murray.. so if this kid is anything like Ronald Leary, then we got a stud on the O line.. because our running game was never the same without Ronald Leary.. such an underrated player

Should have not let Leary out the door. Started the downfall of our offensive line.

@Kyle Cowley I was never a le’al Collins fan.. i.thought he was good but a little overrated.. I was a huge Ronald leary fan and I agree our line was never as good without him in the line up.. that 2014 offensive line was the best since the great wall of the 90s.. 2014 was awesome.. that line was busting ppl up.. zeke in his prime was awesome, but once they committed to running the ball with DeMarco Murray he was AMAZING..my favorite cowboys running back since emmitt Smith.. DeMarco Murray could do it all.. run outside run inside with speed and power. He could catch out of the backfield and he could block and pick up the blitz.. a total complete running back..
